We came here with a large group of people and had a fantastic time. The ambiance is lovely and creates a great atmosphere to eat dinner. The food and drinks are a bit more expensive than other restaurants, but well worth it. It's outdoor seating but they have fans and at night it was the perfect temperature. Recommend to anyone... Fantastic meal in town centre- it's moved from its former river bank situation. Staff lovely. Good value - huge portions. We were moved under cover very fast when it started to rain ( I know, in Bagan!).

Our daughter had read about this restaurant before we left home and it was a must to visit. We ate there twice and could have gone there for every meal really. The food was interesting; selecting from the daily specials or an extensive menu. The salads were fresh and varied flavours and we shared many a 'new' dish. Magnificent vegetarian... More

Visited twice in our trip, once for lunch, once for dinner and was equally blown away both times. They have a board of daily specials, which I recommend choosing from, but also the full menu is amazing. Do not miss the papadum and Tzaziki appetizer - it was incredible. They were sold out of ice cream when we were there... More

We were in Bagan 3 days and ate at Be Kind to Animals 3 times! We ate there rain or shine and, between us, almost worked our way through the whole menu. The food was complex with layered flavors and the staff was so friendly and professional. I wish this restaurant was in my home town!

Stopped here round 12. Was pretty empty. Service was good and food was tasty but was a bit irritated by the ?owner interrupting me while I was eating trying to get me to hire him as a guide for the next day

We ate at The Moon several times during our time in Bagan. Located in Old Bagan, near to Ananda Temple, this vegetarian restaurant serves delicious food (including curries and rice dishes) in a quiet, intimate location with very friendly service. The tamarind sweets that you get at the end of your meal are an extra treat. Highly recommended!!!

Very good vegetarian food, my wife was really happy despite myself missing a good sirloin steak 😜. Very quiet location.
