What a delightful experience! We visited on December 31 on our 10 hour drive home. We were apprehensive about getting in anywhere on New Year’s Eve. The reviews were great, so we pulled off the road and took a chance. Our waitress was fantastic, cheerful...under the stress of a busy night. We asked for suggestions of popular choices and she responded with several choices. We only ordered one entree as we saw the huge portions and could not take leftovers with us. We also ordered a house salad which was very fresh and large enough for two of us to share. The meal came with four delicious rolls and an oil dipping sauce. We were offered additional rolls several times, but knew enough to decline or we could have not possibly enjoyed our entree. A considerable time elapsed between our salad the the entree. Our waitress stopped by several times to explain that the kitchen was swamped with preordered carry outs. She apologized for the delay. The owner or manager stopped by each table to check on customers. When the entree finally arrived it was one of the best dishes I have ever enjoyed at an Italian establishment. We chose ravioli Florentine. So rich and flavorful with shrimp and scallops among other ingredients. I wanted to have a dessert, but our tummies said no. Then came the surprise of the evening. The owner came by and reminded our waitress that our meal had been paid for. What? Who did this? He said it was anonymous. We were incredulous. In thinking about it later, we wonder if the business comped us due to a rather long wait for our entree. I guess it could have been the folks across from us. But why? Anyway, we paid a generous tip to our service and left happy and full. We would definitely return to Roma if we were in the area. One note-they do not serve alcohol. Our waitress said they will happily provide glasses if we have alcohol with us. We did have a bottle of wine in our car, but we were planning to consume champagne when we arrived at our hotel in an hour so we drank water. Prices were very reasonable for quality and quantity and there are many choices on the menu. Just go!More

Upon arrival our party of 7 was seated immediately, which was wonderful, but that was about the extent of the good review. Service was a little slow getting started and the waitress dropped an entire cup of water on the table which flowed off the...table and on the feet of one in our party. We ordered an appetizer and told her we were ready to order but she ran to put the appetizer in and didn’t come back for a few minutes. We ordered our meals, which included food for three kids, only to find out that we were charged full price, $2.50 for kids drinks just the same as adult drinks and they didn’t appreciate us asking for refills for any of the drinks. Once we got our food it was of good quality and taste but not anything to write home about. Portions are huge and prices are relatively good for portion sizes but the service and taste were lacking.I was tired of waiting for the waitress so I approached the front counter to pay only to hear the guy tell our waitress that we needed to pay. Other than this the bathrooms were nice and very clean and parking was overly sufficient since this location is in a small outdoor shopping mall area.More

My mom and I ate here for a second time. It will not be our last. Mom ordered Chicken Margarita and I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. Since the serving portions are so big we asked for an extra plate then shared our entrees. Everything was...so good. I want to try everything on their menu. This was an excellent way to sample two entrees at once. Now for their rolls. They are SO amazing. The service is great, food fresh. Can’t wait to go back.More

We met up here for dinner with friends from out of state that were camped out at the air base. Our server was Brook and did a fantastic job taking care of us! I’m a vegan with food allergies and she made sure my meal...was perfect. Everyone’s food came out fresh and hot. The portions are huge! You’ll love this place!More

We were thrilled, surprised, and more-than-satisfied. While visiting Little Rock Air Force Base, we were looking for a restaurant for a medium-priced, good food, meal. Asking several at the BX & Quick Mart on base, they all said, "Roma's Italian". Directions were misunderstood and when...I stopped for further directions at another location, several people in line at the gasoline station off-base responded, "Roma's Italian", and gave clear, simple directions. It is just off the US highway on the north side of Little Rock, Ark and located in a small shopping center area, officially designated as Jacksonville, Arkansas. The exterior and interior is so-so, but the food is wonderful, delicious, and abundant. The wait staff were all pleasant, friendly, and very helpful. Not knowing what to order, we asked for recommendations and about the sizes. We noticed that everyone leaving were carrying a Take-Out bag. We ended up ordering two items off the Children's Menu, each of us adding a small chicken supplement to the Tortellini Alla Panna and the Fettuccini Alfredo. It was just the right amount of food for me to fill up, but my wife took a Take-Out container. We had some wonderful pre-meal bread with olive oil, but no other extras. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. There were several families with smaller children. Total meal cost, including tip, was less than $25. We were delighted, fully satisfied, happy, enjoyed it all, and will definitely return if we are in the area. It is worth the drive if you are in the North Little Rock area or simply passing through.More
