We have never seen such a poor quality group of employees anywhere. They ignore customers. They don’t answer the phone very kindly. They hide in the kitchen. There is no hostess in front of the restaurant. Quality of food is poor. I wish I knew...who owned this restaurant, I would please ask that they turn this place around. It used to be good place.More

Have been going to this place for years, on and off. This time, ordered nachos and tacos from a woman who could care less if I came back, or was even there this time. Customer service was abhorrent. And the food was mediocre at best....Don’t know what has happened to the restaurant, but it is expensive for a spoon full of rice, beans and greasy chips. $45, and not even a smile makes me believe that this was my last visit to Papitos. Used to be good, now, not so good.More

We had eaten here 3 times in the months prior to January and it was fantastic, the food and the prices. We dined in twice and called in to go once. This time we were calling in a to go order and it was the...exact same order as the last to go we did. The price with tax the last time was $25. This time the said it was $43!! I told them that total wasn't correct going by my previous order AND their online menu prices. All they could tell me is that the prices went up and wasn't updated online. First, they went up $18 for 3 menu items; second, that is not good business to have affordable prices listed online then charge heavily inflated prices! We cancelled our order and do not plan on going back. The food is great but I don't appreciate crooked pricing.More

Service was below one. Waited to be seated but employees just kept walking by me. When an employee finally did seat me it was in the back part of the bar with no server or bartender. I had no idea what the problem so I...left. When I look my mask off I realized what the problem was. I had wore by law enforcement mask in. They must really hate law enforcement in Jacksonville ARMore

First we think not done in but after we go there to order we feel it’s safe to do dine in so we got the food and it’s delicious. If you are in this are you should try it.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and could walk to the restaurant. They were quite busy filling some take out orders for the game, but there were probably no more than 6 other tables in the entire restaurant with customers seated (and most were...couples). They had a margaritta special which I ordered and asked for it blended -- I was told the special was only on the rocks. Never heard anything so silly, so I didn't order it. They brought us the usual salsa and chips which were good but then didn't take our order for another 25 minutes. We both ordered the same thing to keep it simple and fast - a chicken grande burrito. The food arrived quickly, but it was cold. I had to walk to find our waiter Ernesto, but another young man assisted us. The plates were heated and finally the food arrived piping hot. They were good burritos, and the price was reasonable. We had leftovers and the take home containers were near our table so I picked one up and we took care of that by ourselves. Then as we were walking to the front door, our bill finally arrived. The slow (or I should say non-existent) service with no follow-up, cold food, and the special priced margarita, only if on the rocks, just made the entire dining experience a bust. I left a 20%+ tip only because I didn't have any one-dollar bills ---- I should have left one thin dime. Our server never apologized for the cold food nor made any type of offer to fix the bad experience. I have never rated a restaurant this low - but I normally only rate the best on TripAdvisor and forget the subpar experiences or the ones with poor food.More
