In a boomlet town like El Chalten, it was a pleasant surprise to find Fuegia and to get a wonderfully cooked steak to beat! Wine choices were fine but better at at least one other place. Great service too. Worth the stop.

We were overwhelmed by the quality of the food and presentation of this restaurant in this rustic mountain town. I had the lamb, which was exceptional, and our friends who prefer to eat vegetarian would not share a bite of their eggplant roulade. They said it was too good to share. The vegetables had the same book smoky flavor as... More

Prices were a little higher (~15%) than other places but quality of the food and portions etc were well worth it. Steak was one of the best I have had in Argentina and the service was great

We visited here one rainy afternoon after a day trek. I drank local beers and my partner local wine. We eat dinner here too and the food was very homely, tasty and well priced. Gets pretty busy so if you are wanting dinner get here before 7pm as the place is very pretty cosy,

While lacking in a lot of atmosphere, the food here is really delicious. Warming, homely food served fairly quickly. I had the beef with the most delicious red wine sauce. It's affiliated with the hostel next door so we also got a 10% discount.

We went to get a table around 6:30 but the restaurant was still closed with a sign that they would open at 7:00. We arrived back at 7:05 and were lucky to get the only remaining available table. The food was delicious. Best steak I had while travelling in Patagonia. Service was friendly and helpful.

We dined here almost at Christmas and found the food to be very good. The restaurant is run by a lovely Dutch lady who has lived in El Chalten for quite some time and she serves wonderful food that is generally delicious and healthier than many of the places we ate in Argentina. It's also a very warm and welcoming... More

We pulled into El Chalten on the late bus and after checking in next door at Hostel Patagonia asked what was still open. They suggested the place next door, where we would also get a 10% discount because we were staying at the hostel. What a surprise to have the best steak of our three weeks in Patagonia (and that... In Fuegia we try very hard to meet the international traveller´s need for a good meal, served in a quiet, harmonious place. We offer a varied and original menu of homemade dishes with fresh ingredients. Besides the typical Argentinian filled pastas and excellent beef you will also find tacos, tabules and Indian-style chicken. We open in the morning with self-service breakfast with cereals, wholemeal bread and eggs and we prepare your packed lunch if you like. Dinnertime is between 7 and 11 pm.
