Stoped here for Sunday lunch on way back from the Valley. Staff were very helpful and friendly. First visit since the fire and we were very pleased. The food was lovely and nicely presented. If you are after a reasonable price, great tasting meal in friendly surroundings. Then stop here, highly recommended.

There were no tables in the place available but we ate at the bar. A great time. Upbeat atmosphere. Great service. The menu has a lot of variety and I've been here many times. Everything is good

We stopped here because of the limited dining options in Windsor. There were 4 of us and we all opted for traditional pub fare. Service was notably slow and the restaurant was not that busy. Three of the 4 meals came out 10 minutes before the last. The food was average. One person watched 3 of us eat and then... More

We had a meal that tasted home cooked, and were excellent sized portions. We loved our waitress too. Very friendly spot.

"Oh Boy " my wife and I both said as we patted our tummies leaving the Spitfire. Pub food at it's best.My wife's fish and chips, perfect. A large fillet of fresh haddock, delicious thin crust, homemade tartar sauce, and hand cut fries.Scallops should be succulent. Mine were for sure, bacon wrapped and a touch of maple sauce. You will not get a better... More

Excellent, attentive service; very helpful to people with food allergies. We ate dishes made with local fish and they were excellent. Tea was nicely served. I would have had a beer but had a long drive ahead. It's worth walking around Windsor as well as eating here. It is a picturesque town.

I should know by now that pub grub in Canada is pretty substandard unlike in Ireland where it is great. But we needed to eat so we took a walk around the reservoir, not particularly attractive, and settled for this place. There were having music inside which we opted against so we ate on the patio which was on the... More

The Spitfire is your friendly local pub/restaurant. It is a busy spot but the service is fast and friendly...and the food is good. They will adjust the selections to your taste as much as they can which works for fussy me and the prices are very reasonable We usually go on weekends when there is live entertainment and we usually... This is, by far, my favorite Pub. The food is excellent. There is a wonderful selection of beers on tap. And the staff is always very friendly. It is one of those places that leaves a wonderful taste in your mouth (in more than just the physical way).
