Very popular, traditional pub. Nice for a pint or a meal. Need to reserve in advance for a meal on the weekend.

We popped into the Bear Hotel for a drink and were warmly welcomed by the staff, it's a large comfortable public house/ hotel, a little dark due to all the dark wood but a very attractive and welcoming place.

Good food, lovely staff who made our visit very enjoyable. This is the second time we have visited with friends and we were not disappointed. The dogs were spoilt as well.

I've been brought here since I was a kid but a recent visit was my first time there as an adult and I had high expectations based on cherished childhood memories. My friend and I came here for dinner and drinks on our overnight stop...More
