I had a HUGE bowl of hot and very easy pea and pesto soup with a soft bread roll, coffee and a chocolate caramel shortbread. What more could you ask for on a wet and grey morning!

Very popular café with a busy takeaway trade as well. Home made savoury dishes with a good selection of salads to accompany. Unpretentious good value meals.

I think you will find all the cake is homemade and not processed or packaged. In which case it's hard to see where it's sell by date would be! It also normally sells out every day!
