Situated in a cozy spectacular town of glencoe The restaurant is cozy and has a very comfortable ambience. The staff very polite and nice. The chef has a michellin star and the food was awesome. We had a lamb bengal curry and Thai curry and and salad. Every dish was good above average and the desert was exquisite. The lamb... More

We were approaching Glencoe from the west at lunchtime so thought we would stop in Ballachulish for some lunch. We parked in the main car park by the Tourist Information Centre and spotted this pub further up the road. the bar menu was surprisingly extensive, the staff nice and friendly so we decided to stop and eat. Food was well... More

We had dinner with our family here. Really good food and excellent service. Even on a week day the place was almost full. Even the kids which are not a big restaurant fan, really enjoyed this place.

My family , for adults, two of them vegetarians had a lovely, hearty meal here at a very resonable price. The fish is very good.

We had the scallop starter at £12.50 and received about one and a half scallops each. We saw them in a fish shop for about 75p each that afternoon. Very miserable portion for the price. The marinaded lamb at £18 was at best average. No local competition would be my reason for them getting away with these prices. Should have... More

Visited twice whilst in the area following a recommendation and good TA reviews, and it certainly did not disappoint! The restaurant gets understandably booked up, so we ate both times in the bar which is a lively and characterful place with great atmosphere. The food and choices are excellent, plus cater well for people with gluten intolerance. The staff are... More

We ate at the Laroch on Thursday (without booking) and Friday (glad we booked). It's understandably popular with a long and varied menu and the choices we made on Thursday convinced us to return the next day. Service was efficient and friendly enough. I was a bit disappointed that the range of beers was unadventurous (a few lines of local... More

I'm always impressed by the standard of the food in Scottish restaurants and Laroch is no exception. Perhaps it's trying to be a little more upscale than some (it's fairly expensive) and not sure they completely nail that but the food was very good. Long queue for the till at the end (maybe we were unlucky with timing) so we... More

Brilliant varied menu can be eaten in the restaurant or bar area. Good atmosphere with attentive service. Being able to take our dog into the bar area was a real bonus. Give it a try...you will not be disappointed!
