Went with friends and had seen previous reviews regarding excellent steaks. So, ordered a sirloin steak ( wanted to try the flat iron but was told not available) it arrived after a reasonable wait and then I tucked in - disaster, although the meat was...More

I am really disappointed you were served a steak that did not live up to our reputation, It is nice to hear our staff did well and also took the meal off your bill. Its a shame you are not prepared to give us another...More

Had a lovely lunch here today with family, nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. This pub was a great find, just what we wanted. Access for my elderly relative was easy as was parking even though it's clearly a very popular destination....More

Popped in on Saturday night for a steak 16oz rump which was perfect, and to see what the refurbishment looked like, it look good and fresh. Well worth a visit!

Visited the Station recently and had a beautifully cooked and served steak, the staff were attentive and the service was quick, a great selection of beer and wines were on offer, set in a beautiful location I highly recommend this restaurant/bar to anyone passing.

Travelled from Mid Wales, over the English border with my elderly parents and hound, heading for Church Stretton and somewhere for lunch. Very pleased to say everywhere we checked was full, so broadened our search area and found this wonderful gastro pub tucked away. Lovely...More

We decided to check out this restaurant whilst holidaying in Shropshire after reading the good reviews on their steaks. My husband (a steak lover) said it is the best one he's ever had. I ordered the fish & chips with mushy peas instead and it...More

Total revamp and lovely decor. Felt like we were in London! They have spent a fortune and it shows. It's got a good balance for modern, but comfortable surroundings. I loved seeing the meat counter, big hot plate and the central high table. Steaks were...More

This restaurant serves excellent steaks. My only reason for 3* instead of 4*, was that we pre-booked, informing that 2 members were coeliac disease sufferers and therefore needed gluten-free options - arrived, and nobody could advise us on which GF options existed, if indeed there...More

I have never noticed one and normally pitch up in jeans and staff have asked where I would like to sit - there is also a camp site next door and they just pitch up - very relaxed atmosphere.
