Honestly loved this pub, the atmosphere and the food were both fantastic. I would say that the service could be slightly better, simply because the waitress seemed to be in a rush to get us ordered and out... But don't let that put you off!!...More

I live 'down the lane' from this pub, but don't eat out often anywhere. Today I did, treated self to Sunday carvery...absolutely yummy, plus delicious pudding. Lovely staff, great meal, good price. I think I may treat self a bit more often.

The Station Inn was recommended by a local couple - and they were right! The meat was freshly cooked, tender and tasty. All produce was local, and there was a large selection of perfectly cooked vegetables from which to choose. The staff were friendly and...More

Called in about 2 o'clockish on Sunday which is probably not the best time to attend without phoning first. The place was quite busy but the barman said " I am sure we can fit you in if we can". We were both glad that...More

We visited here last night. The setting is perfect, simple, clean and understated. My husband chose rump steak which he said was excellent. I had butternut squash curry, the only non meat option. It was extremely good and very filling. The staff are friendly, courteous...More

Wed booked a table for 4 for a change of venue. Not been for a while but son in law hadn't stopped drooling about the steaks since our last visit 18 months ago. Our welcome was underwhelming, 6 people behind the bar, all trying not...More

I have never noticed one and normally pitch up in jeans and staff have asked where I would like to sit - there is also a camp site next door and they just pitch up - very relaxed atmosphere.
