Breakfast is a delight at Don Jose if you have the American /Mexican waiter from Gabriel California! He is attentive to every need. Food was not only a great value but also delicious . Atmosphere was festive and very colorful.Lovely experience, great coffee!

We eat here a couple of times a year when travelling through. Good food, large servings, reasonable prices, good service. We stay at the Days Inn attached to restaurant and then have breakfast the next morning here also. Always good.

Who would have believed to find a great Mexican restaurant in Arkansas. Fast, friendly and efficient service and they're licensed to boot. The food was abundant and inexpensive and the chips and salsa free and awesome. Worth the detour to go return there for sure.

We were expecting good Mexican food. It was not. The queso and salsa were store bought and the queso seemed to be watered down. My son's order was wrong and had to be remade. The service was good and the people were very nice. It seemed to be a meeting place for a lot of teens. Very noisy.

We spent the night at the days inn and had breakfast at Done Jose the next morning. We ordered french toast and it was very tasty for a mexican restaurant.

Other reviews indicated BLAND. How right they were. Add very poor service to it and you have been double warned.

We spent the night in Forrest City, Ar and we're looking for a good place to eat. The reviews for Don Jose were so favorable, we had to try it. We shared the steak and chicken fajitas. The single order was plenty for both of us. My wife and I agreed that these were probably the best fajitas we ever... More

It's hard to find a hotel with a restaurant unless it leans towards the luxury category. Don Jose's is in the Days Inn in Forrest City. We didn't stay there but after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and a few other places we decided to try it. Glad we did. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. The food was... More

The service was fast attentive and the place was very clean. The service prebussed the table so we weren't left looking at empty plates. The salsa I loved the salsa it was strong on the cumin giving a wonderful smoky taste. I'd for sure go back the next time I am driving back from Tennessee!

We needed a hotel and a place to have dinner, and as luck would have it, they were in the same place. Mexican restaurants are one of our stand-bys when traveling (the other is Subway - both are ubiquitous) so we felt lucky with this combination. My husband had the chicken poblano fiesta, because he loves poblanos. It was excellent,... More
