Visited here for weekday lunch and were not disappointed. The village in which the restaurant sits is very picture-postcard. Parking is limited and had to park alongside the road. Food was excellent. We had steaks and Dorset dressed crab. Steaks cooked to perfection. All ingredients...More

Dropped in for a pint and stayed for dinner. Friendly welcome by staff and an excellent pint of Sixpenny Handly bitter. The braised lamb was a joy and gave me some ideas to play with.A pleasure to eat here. Hope everything goes well for you...More

Don't agree with being charged 10% service charge on drinks bought at the bar!!!!!!! We had a light lunch but we're charged 10% service on the total bill. We will not return.

We had a lovely dinner here pn a warm Summer evening with my uncle, who lives locally. The cheese soufflé and spatchcock were delicious and the service griendly. Certainly bettet than your average pub meal.

Lovely venue and atmosphere, friendly staff, very pleasant. However, the food was an anomaly. We went there for the Sunday roast. Both the beef, pork and confit of lamb were all excellent. The cauliflower cheese side was also good, fresh and hot. Generous Yorkshire pudding...More
