Called in with the family on mothers day. The staff were very accommodating and able to assist with my dietary requirements (I'm coeliac). The food was simple but good.

Looked the part but disappointed. The homemade bacon and lentil soup was bland and tasteless. The sandwiches were served with a side of very sad stale looking lettuce. Cups on the table were dirty and generally thought it could have been cleaner.

Whenever we come down to Cornwall (often) we like to have at least one breakfast out and have tried many in the Padstow, Wadebridge, Rock triangle and so far, this is the best I have found. Great choice, excellent value for money and the Full Cornish was just brilliant

We thought this was a great place to visit for breakfast, we missed breakfast the morning we visited and arrived in Wadebridge feeling hungry. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasted very nice. We will visit again when next in Wadebridge.

Popped in by chance as skipped breakfast and was starving. Had great piping hot breakfast and huge pot of tea - place was very clean and service very quick. Would recommend - they appear to also have an extensive lunch menu and although not busy whilst I was there it has been packed out when previously went past.

A CORKING little cafe. We zipped in looking for lunch on our way to Padstow. And we hit the jackpot. I destroyed a plate of steak and ale pie and veg while my wife Loraine demolished a jacket potato smothered in rich prawns and mouthwatering salmon. Stand out value at about 8 quid each, you just can't go wrong at... More

Visited on a wet Monday morning never having been to Wadebridge before. Opted for the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup and they were fresh and fabulous. Reasonable prices and friendly quick service.

John Young has hit a home run with this little boutique restaurant. Staff was great and we found them a week before they were going to get married. This was real British fare
