Visited The Maltsters for Sunday lunch, the staff were welcoming and friendly, the pub is old but the decor is quite modern with paintings by local artists. We opted for the carvery which offered 4 different delicious roasts, with lots of lovely vegetables the food...More

Met up with some friends here back in the summer who live nearby. It's their 'go to' place to eat and meet up with friends, relatives etc. Didn't disappoint. Food was excellent, service good and ambiance just right.

Nice selection of home cooked food. The vegetables were steamed to perfection. Attentive staff and a great village atmosphere. Plenty of local gin to choose from. Definitely worth a visit.

So....what can I saw. Great local beer. Food is really good too. Simple menu but really done well and not overpriced Dog friendly, which for me is crucial. Last but not least, a charming welcoming barmaid with a super smile. Definitely one to return to.

Most of our meals are gluten free. However the battered fish is not gluten free & the rustic chips are cooked in the fryer next to the fish therefore there can be traces of gluten. We do supply gluten free bread.
