So pleased we chose this lovely pub for my birthday lunch. Beautiful warm inviting interior in a pretty Cornish village All lovely and sparkly clean and decorated for Christmas with the real log fire. Fish n chips and omelette were lovely as was the trifle and cheesecake we chose. Very friendly and helpful lady served us. What more can you... More

Very lovely pub with good beer (ale) and drinks choices. Dogs are allowed in the bar and tiled part of the pub which was nice. Lady behind the bar was very friendly and seemed to be running the place herself. Service was quick and great food! Most of us had a very good looking fish and chips and the vegetarians... More

Firstly the food was very good. Although being a vegetarian the options where very restricted. Service was slow and there wasn't many people in the restaurant. However the lady was polite although not welcoming.

Had seen great reviews so thought we'd have a special meal. They ran out of one of the ciders, hubby was told there was no mackerel as we were ordering. My duck was over cooked and the vegetables were more raw than al dente. We decided to have desserts hoping this would make up for the mains. Hubbys sticky toffee... More

We stopped in for a Sunday evening meal while camping in the area and had found this little place online. Firstly it is in a lovely little village, very quaint. I had the slow roasted belly pork - which was absolutely delicious, cannot praise it enough. The beer was excellent too. The staff were very friendly and the service was... More

This place is a hidden gem. I cannot rate this place to highly. It is reasonably local for me, it is around 9 miles away from where I live in Camelford. The staff are so pleasant, one of the owners, Barry Cuff, is so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is fresh, it is mostly of... More

We ate here twice over a weekend. On the first visit my wife had the scamp and I had their burger. Both were excellent. We returned for the Sunday carvery. This was incredible value for just £10. Beef, Turkey, pork AND Gannon plus Yorkshire pus and all the trimmings including the best crackling ever. We also enjoyed looking at the... More
