We are very lucky in Coltishall to have three very good Pubs. Each one has its own 'character' and the Red Lion is no exception. It has a very cosy Pub atmosphere in the bar and the staff are friendly and helpful. For the 'Real...Ale' drinkers, there is always a good selection as well as the Euro Froth for those who want to drink Bitter, but don't like the taste. The food is good as well, including very Authentic Thai. The Landlord has done an amazing job of diversification to attract a wide range of customers so there is a lot going on including Quiz Nights, live music and beer festivals in the Summer.More

We ate at the Red Lion recently and enjoyed a superb meal. We asked for a selection of dishes to suit all tastes and could not have been happier with what we were presented. All the dishes were freshly cooked and full of flavour. Brian...and his team made sure we had everything we needed and there was never a dry moment.More

We were all seriously impressed with the food and hospitality that Brian and his team showed us. A very generous prize from Brian for the North Walsham rugby club raffle. The food was delicious and plenty of it. We were guided to a selection of...dishes which meant everyone had something to try. The drinks flowed, Brian and his team very attentive and we all very much look forward to our next visit. Thank youMore

Brian, the owner gave a generous prize of ‘a Thai meal for 10 people’ at The North Walsham Rugby Ball. We were lucky to win the prize and invited our friends at the ball to join us. It was a thoroughly delicious Thai meal -...we decided on sharing starters and mains. Everything was fresh and very tasty and there was plenty to share. I particularly enjoyed the Thai dim sum, Thai fish cakes and red Thai chicken curry. Brian and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a brilliant night, thank you!More

Absolutely stunning authentic food. Really Good value. Genuine Thai cuisine. No packets or sauce bottles in sight. Really welcoming landlord and locals. Good real ale and selection of other beers. Trying to find an excuse to come back as soon as possible.... it would be...worth the 2 hour drive!. Thank you Red Lion Pub & Kitchen Team.More

Your review does not reflect you actually eating at our premises and at the time had you been here you would have been asked if everything was OK. Had there been a problem we would have dealt with at the time. I also note you...More

This pub is one of the friendliest I have visited. Customers and staff always offered advice on good places to visit while there on holiday. Warm and cosy inside. There is a restaurant attached that offers some delicious meals

There seems to be some confusion, we are a pub and not a hotel. Progestin manor is local and that has a gym. Hope this helps
