Had the vegan pie and. Her and both was very bad. Overcooked. Bad flavours. Service was fine. Didn’t have to wait too long for food.

It's our anniversary and our local gastro pub- where better to go 'in better times'? This year it's lockdown so we compromised by ordering a takeaway. Absolutely delicious: salmon fillet with mushroom duxelle and Gruyere cheese crust served with dauphinoise and beans. My husband ordered...the beef bourguignon, dauphinoise and buttered cabbage followed by lemon tart. No doubt we'll be back!More

Booked for Sunday lunch whilst on holiday. COVID safe and friendly staff but that’s it . Food was below average my husband ordered the only starter of our order of baked Camembert it arrived on a cheap enamel chipped tin plate ( not very well...presented) It was stone cold not warm and runny as it should be served with 3 small fingers of toast and batons of carrot and cucumber??? . It was sent back . Lots of apologies and refunded. The roast dinner was ok but luke warm hard vegetables. Certainly wasn’t an enjoyable meal but at least the staff were friendly. It’s put us off eating at a Greene king restaurant again.More

We had a Sunday lunch here, the food was lovely as it was the last time we visited but the service was frosty at best, not a single smile from the servers wearing shields, leaving the atmosphere tense. We didn't order as much as we...would have as a result and wished we had gone somewhere we could have relaxed a bit more. Not the friendly and welcoming atmosphere the website states - we felt like we had gatecrashed a wake!More

I think you did not visit The Kings Head at Coltishall, possibly went to Wroxham, we do not serve an all day brunch on our menu

Popped in for drink , the social distancing worked well , after we left we realised we had left a bag behind, a call to them confined this and collected it the next day very good service

Stopped for lunch on our way past and had a lovely meal. Service was great and good Covid-19 measures in place. Food was hot and plentiful. Crab cakes and scallops starters were beautiful. Nice pint of Adnams bitter too. Great place.

The 4 of us checked in as walk ins having completed track & trace. I used the Greene King app which was a little frustrating, but you can go to bar. The young waitress we had was very smiley. The pub was CV compliant and...roomy with tables well spaced, drinks came quickly. I had the chicken & mushroom pie which was tasty, although perhaps few more chips and veg would have been appreciated , nice place, can park free opposite in supermarket if need. I think 3.5 would my rating, pretty waitress just nudged to 4.More

Had a lovely pub tea at King's Head. Spottlessly clean, socially distanced and staff who go all out to make you feel safe whilst keeping themselves safe. Food was delicious and great value for money as always. Wasn't sure about eating in a pub but...the staff and systems they've put in place made this a worry free and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.More

We booked a table here, for our last night on the broads. We were advised to download the app, through which we could order and pay, to maximise social distancing. This works really well, both food and drinks arrived promptly and were very good.
