Enjoyed a wonderful five course taster menu in their stunning Tudor Hall dining room. Excellent service from a succession of well trained European waiting staff. A credit to the restaurant in every way. The food was fine dining at a fantastic level. Not the largest...More

This was our second on visit to Hipping Hall for lunch and we weren't disappointed. Staff remembered us and made us very welcome; and the service was relaxed but attentive. Our (Spanish) waitress was just lovely. The four course lunch is creative in terms of...More

Let me begin by saying that the food here is excellent. Our 5 course tasting menu with wine matching was exquisite (and actually much more than 5 courses when a couple of amuse-bouches, a cheese board and a pre-desert were added). The staff too were...More

After a warm greeting on a cold evening we were shown through to the recently refurbished restaurant - a room that sings about its location and surroundings! The food was without fault, especially the mushroom dish which was a standout favourite on the 8 course...More

We've been wanting to dine here after seeing The Trip with Rob Branden & Steve Cougan. We had the 8 course tasting menu with wine flights. The food was excellent, the wines were interesting & the service was also very good.

Visited on Saturday lunchtime and opted for the 4-course lunch without wine. We did, however, add a cheese course just before the dessert... The attention to detail throughout the hotel is evident. The food is very special indeed, and how refreshing to have waiting staff...More

I loved the fact that the menu was presented as a list of components, it gave the opportunity for the staff to explain the dish and for some elements to surprise and delight.
