Visiting Los Boliches in mid February we realised that a number of restaurants close during this month, this meant we had to find some different places to previous visits. This restaurant wasn't too far from our hotel and gets good reviews so we decided to...try it. On entering it is very traditional old style in decor and also the service, they even bring the main courses covered in silver domes which are ceremoniously removed in a synchronised fashion!! The menu is quite small in comparison to other places which isn't a bad thing, the food is definitely influenced by old school French. We had Onion soup done French style with a cheese covered croute which had been grilled, I have to say it was very tasty. We then had Magret of Duck which had been cooked beautifully, almost charred on the outside and Pink in the centre, it was very tender and tasted beautiful, served with a separate orange sauce which was also very good and some dauphinoise potato and carrots. We had Panna cotta with raspberry coulis for dessert. All these dishes were included on a fix price menu of 19 euro which was good value and were all on the small main menu anyway. We were also bought some bread and olives on arrival, followed by a roll with duck liver butter and then an amuse bouche of a small cracker with Fois gras, soft cheese and honey which was rather unusual and tasted very sweet!More

What can I say, this place is amazing. We were lucky and got a table for 4 without booking but I would highly recommend phoning or booking in advance so you are not disappointed. We all had the 3 course special and were very impressed....The quality of the food was exceptional and the waiter service made you feel special. The food was piping hot. I had the chicken and orange starter, I expected a small plate of food, I was wrong. Drinks were reasonably priced too. I can highly recommend the glass of sangria, best I've had. We will definately go back! Thank youMore

Visited this restauran on 4th November 2019 with two friends. The welcome we received and the friendly service from our young waiter was a wonderful start to our evening. The ambience of the restaurant set the scene for a relaxing evening and the food was...second to none. I would recommend the sole on the bone - delicious. Value for money completed a the whole experience. A must place if you are looking for a great restaurant in FuengerolaMore

Located in Los Boliches, this is a quality restaurant that is a piece of yesteryear yet remains stylish and classy. Excellent service levels and lovely friendly , tho professional feel to the place. Full a la carte menu or set menu at €18. The set...menu does not compromise quality and is particularly good value. Food style is classics and they do it sooooo well. Why change a winning formula ? A great dining experience.More

Made a return visit to La Langosta last month, having come back to Fuengirola for the first time in 28 years! Really couldn't wait to go back, it was so lovely first time round! Well, we weren't disappointed, it was exactly the same exactly the...same, the décor had changed little (although obviously well kept) but the ambience and the food just as divine! Our waiter was lovely .... I told him " the last time we were here was over 28 years ago!", he replied " I started working here 30 years ago.... it is good to see you again!" Anyway, onto the food ... Both had the mussels in a creamy saffron sauce, for starters, which were delicious! My husband then had the king prawn gratin, which was so tasty, it actually gave me food envy! I had the sole, filleted at the table, with dauphinoise potatoes and vegetables, which was also perfect! No room for sweet, a shame but true! We also had nice a bottle of wine. With everything included, we paid around £63 euros, which we thought was worth every euro!!! If you like seafood and you're in Fuengirola, don't pass up the chance to visit this lovely restaurant. I can't wait to go back.More
