AVOID...DISGUSTING PLACE I knew we should've AVOIDED when this restaurant was empty and everywhere else full but it was recommended to us! AVOID! The waiter didn't even understand what we wanted to order even by showing it To him on the menu. The starter was very bland but presented with a bit of effort. The main course was DISGUSTING The... Nestled amongst the vast British restaurants on the seafront strip this was a great find! We had fish and steak and prawns with a huge ensalada mixta plus drinks Service was excellent and the restaurant is very clean Not the cheapest.......€79 for 3 people but......you get what you pay for Well worth a visit!

Excellent find, walked past this restaurant so many times without really noticing it but what a pleasant surprise when we did. Mainly meat based menu, all cooked extremely well. The scrambled eggs with prawns to start are lovely, but you can easily share one between two people, the portion's are that big.

This is what you call a classic meat restaurant and looks really Spanish. It was a short walk from our hotel and had been recommend by local bar owner. The food was very good but service poor, we charged for bread when we didn't order it and when complained the manager or owner was rude saying we had eaten it... More

Once again on our yearly trip to this area in the new year we dined in this restaurant and once again we were not disappointed. The shoulder of lamb is cooked to perfection as are the lamb chops, in fact this restaurant excels at it's selection & cooking of meat. Although they also do fish we have never actually ordered... I have eaten Meson Agustin for over 5 years and I have to say if you are a meat eater this is the place. I visited on Saturday night with 4 golf colleagues who were suitably impressed. The meat is displayed in a glass unit so you can select your own cut which is cooked on an open charcoal grill.... More

There are plenty of reasonable restaurants in Fuengirola and it would be very easy to walk past this place but the food makes it stands out from the crowd. I had shoulder of lamb cooked to perfection but my wife had cod in a tomato based sauce and it was equally good. Not the cheapest but good value for what... More

I've been to Meson Agustin many times over many years. It never lets me down. 100% Spanish cuisine, concentraating on meat. It has an awsome grill operated by a great chef and you can go up and ask him what's good today - in Spanish only! Or ask the waiter/ress in English. Service is good and there is a fine... More
