Fabulous meal tonight in JP Steakhouse. Great menu to suit all tastes, delicious food especially their amazing steaks . Wonderful staff who are very professional and welcoming. Highly recommend whether going as a couple, family or group of friends
We were hoping for the great steak on a stone , but guess what ? None left at 6.30 pm .
As we had planned for this my wife had to make do with lasagne which was not great .
Unless you are having the...steak don’t bother .
Again no steak on a stone at 6.30 pm and the name is Strakhouse ????
Sorry for this but needs to be saidMore
We had visited Mullingar many years ago when our three girls were very little, we never forgot JPs...we said if we were to return to this great midlands town we were definitely dining here again....our girls are now 13, 12 and 10...so no highchairs on...this return visit but the same fantastic atmosphere, food and staff...
Brilliant early bird menu and wine list... I had steak on a stone....need I say more!? Fab from start to finish.... we will not be leaving it as long to return again! Thankyou all so so much.More
When in Rome.. So we ordered 2 steaks & were not disappointed. The most amazing melt in the mouth delicious steak that we’ve had in a long time.
The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
Starters & desserts were equally delicious,...altogether faultless.
A little gem of a restaurant.More
A delicious meal was served here under the latest Covid conditions. We all enjoyed our individual meals. As patrons left the tables were paid great attention to. I felt as safe as possible here. We will be returning
Quiet night when we arrived, great service to start from very friendly staff and starters. Ordered two medium/rare rib eyes-one looked divine the moment it arrived. One looked dry. The second cut in it was well done. The sauce and sides were nice as was...the other main but the rib eye on one plate was rubbery, dry and inedible. Tried to get the attention of wait staff for the duration of the meal and couldn't. So just ate the sides. Such a disappointing experience. Especially with the meal in the restaurants name. Expect better.More
The 2 ladies that were serving were so friendly and kind and food was out of this world . No room for dessert but I’m sure it would be delicious…
Nice open space if we weren’t heading back to Dublin , we would have popped...in again xMore
So only the second night of the return to indoor dining and we were looking forward to eating out once again.
The staff were very professional and friendly and we were put at our ease right away.
There was a good choice on the menu...and we decided to share the JP's chicken wings for starters.
My wife went for the Steakhouse burger with melted cheese ,and I decided to try for my first time the fish dish of Trout on a bed of baby broccoli with almond nuts baby tomatoes and baby potatoes.
Let me tell you people the food did not disappoint and the Trout was amazing.
Very well cooked and presented.
We shared a bottle of the fabulous Birchmore Shiraz-Cabernet from Australia.
Well done to all at the JP's Steak House we will be back
Glad to hear you got your credit machine sorted guysMore
We visited this restaurant as a family of 4, with 2 fussy eating children. Everyone was very happy with the food. The food is exceptional as was the service and it was also excellent value as we took advantage of the early bird menu. The...chicken wings were a favourite and we had the fillet steak, which was cooked to perfection. Children had burger & chips and Pizza, both were great quality and delicious. Just to point out, our children are really fussy and they both agreed it was the best food they ever had! So 5 stars to JPs, we will have to travel from Dublin, but we will be back.More
Always a great meal in this place .good priced menus ,Fillet or Rib eye Steak & Jack Daniel's sauce is scrumptious, desserts are un real.always worth a visit. On a negative note ,why people visiting all these premises can't don a mask momentary is bad manners &...disrespectful to Staff.More
