I had brunch with a friend before an event downtown about a month ago, and everything was great. Perhaps it was because the owner was there. I had the Lobster Benedict, which was the special. Today, I dragged another friend there and was extremely disappointed....More

We enjoyed brunch at Emelia's. The waitstaff is very professional and the food is delicious. You could easily be in a place in New York or CA, or anywhere. It is very professional and clean and exquisite.

The food was just “ok”. It wasn’t bad, just ok. I’m definitely didn’t match the expectations or the price. The hummus was good as was the feta. The kabobs weren’t kabobs. It was sliced chicken (Lulu) and sliced steak. Flavor was meh! Sliced grilled meat....More

Wonderful food. Got a table quickly. But getting our food took forever. All the staff were most pleasant. We will go back.

Great food! I don't particularly care for the lay-out of the restaurant, but the food is really nice. We went there for brunch on a Sunday in April. There was live music which added to a nice atmosphere.

Emelia’s specializes in Mediterranean cuisine that owner George Ouyoumjian’s mother, Emelia, cooked when he was growing up. George is Armenian, by way of Syria, and offers delicacies to re-flect that heritage. For the best brunch in town and an authentic taste of the Mediterranean, be sure to try the lamb kebabs and the hummus, the best you'll ever have!
