View is Amazing

Went with my husband, daughter her husband and family for New Years Day dinner. Was very busy but the staff were excellent. Dinner was fabulous, large portions. Some had dessert some didn't as we were so full. Only fault was banoffee dessert I thought should have been heated as biscuit base was quite hard. Would recommend for an occasion. Going back soon to try out evening menu as it looks fab.

Food with a view

We went for lunch and got a window seat looking out at what must be one of the best restaurant views in the entire county. There is a great selection to choose from on the menu. Service was spot on and our food was excellent. We went for starters and a sandwich. The hot sandwiches were especially good. There is also a good selection of desserts. This is a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit.

Mother’s Day meal was very amazing

I take my mum to this restaurant for Mother’s Day and it fantastic the food was amazing the staff were very kind and food coming quick to are are table very important with the service thanks

Very disappointing

Two of us called here for Sunday lunch with no booking Staff were very welcoming and got us a table straight away even though it was very busy Both of us had a main course each and were very disappointed with our dishes Small portions , dry and tasteless and overpriced ..€40 for 2 mains .. we left hungry .. We won’t be back

Vegetarian curry was fine, but overpriced at €23 - had a different price on the menu. The views are spectacular and staff friendly. No vegetarian sandwiches or wraps in the vegetarian menu.

Great views, vegan options available!

Amazing views, great food! Steak sandwich a particular hit. Also provides a vegan menu which had a great vegan creamy mushroom and spinach pasta on that went down well!

We ate at The View Restaurant (midday), as the children were off school, for half term. I had rang ahead & booked a table. When we arrived the restaurant was very quiet, so we had our choice of window seats. Albeit the weather wasn't great, just a foggy view, but on a good day, it would be stunning, overlooking the lake. The restaurant is very tastefully laid out, with comfy seats and had a nice atmosphere. Our food came within 30 mins of ordering and I had the lamb. It was delicious and moreish! The children's portions were small, and they had their meals ate in a few minutes. I'd say they weren't filled, so we ordered a couple of deserts as well. Would we eat here again? Yes.

Very good early bird menu

My wife and I where here yesterday evening. We both went for the early bird menu. We both had a starter and maim course. I have to say it was top notch food. I have also had food of the standard menu and this is equally as good. The staff are very good and you will not be sitting waiting for an age between courses.

Ate here with a friend. The view is breathtaking. I had a pannini with tuna and salad. It was lovely. Found it to be quite expensive though.

Should Check Their Prices

The setting is beautiful and the staff are very good. Called up for breakfast with my elderly mother in law, and we won't be back. €8.50 for 1 sausage, 1 slice of bacon and 1 egg, ridiculous! Fair enough they have a set price for a small breakfast, but if someone only takes a very small portion, the price should be adjusted accordingly. And it comes out on a big plate so even looks tiny and they still don't adjust. Food was fine but the price has put us off.

Lovely Views from the View Restaurant Bar

Great spot for something light or if you're hungry, head on into the View Restaurant. Excellent food with an outstanding view, it's the Killarney of the North, you really won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this venue for couples, family and parties.

superb venue & superb food!

the food, staff and overall atmosphere in this restaurant is just superb. the food is fresh, delicious and the portion sizes are excellent. we haven't enough good things to say about this place!! we held a wedding party here a fortnight ago and every single guest enjoyed the food. the management and staff in the Concra Wood are highly trained and efficient. would highly recommend and would not think twice about returning here over any other local venue for a party, function or just a meal. well done to an excellent team!

Worst meal I have had for a long time

The food was awful, the chicken was dry and as tough as old boots. It had obviously been cooked hours ago and kept warm somewhere. The Turkey was not very good either. On the other hand the staff looked after us very well.
