Stayed for the weekend with friends and family, and it was really friendly and clean. The food was amazing especially the fillet steak. The girl at reception (Elizabeth) was so friendly and inviting, she is definitely an asset to the hotel as Is Damien, very...well run and nothing is to much trouble. Highly recommend a stay here.More

Had dinner with a mate at the hotel yesterday. Staff were really friendly, the receptionist said hello the minute she saw us walking in,a big smile on her face, Waiters/ waitresses and barman were patient and efficient. The toilets were clean and paintings on the toilet...wall of deer man are interesting:) Would definitely eat there again.More

Just finished probably one off the best Seafood Chowder soups in a very long time, would highly recommend it the accompanying wheaten bread is Excellent. The choice of Joints at the Carvery is Excellent also, definitely Fantastic Food & Great Value for Money. Noticed people...taking the Carvery out, decided to follow suit lol, after the Seafood Chowder & Wheaten bread unfortunately I couldn't manage to eat what looks like delicious thick cut Sirloin Of Beef with all the trimmings!!! It wii get devoured later on today no doubt. My Husband had the Turkey & Ham with stuffing and all the trimmings, 2 veg, creamed & roast potatoes and gravely he said was delicious!!! Empty plate and place packed with Happy Customers. Give it a go some Sunday, you definitely won't be Dissatisfied Folks!!!!More

Hubby & I have dined here on numerous occasions as we're locals. The food in this 3☆ Hotelis good but why pay more when you can get exactly the same in Concra Wood Golf Club and in Watters Old Coach Inn for less. We had...barfood in the 4☆ Slieve Russell Hotel today & even it is cheaper than the Glencarn Hotel for the same food.slieve Russell only €13;50 for Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini & it's €15:70 in the Glencarn. The Glencarn's fish & chips are €2 dearer too.More

Attended a wedding here recently. Beautiful hotel but what makes it work so well is the staff. Service was amazing for a large wedding and food was delicious. They even had a shuttle bus which ferried guests who were staying at guesthouses back and forwards...to the hotel. Amazing service.More
