We have a family visit to soon Castleblaney from Cork a couple of times a year and we always have a trip to Eileens. The food is delicious homemade and fresh and the staff efficient and very friendly. I am dreaming of the apple cinnamon...pancakes for a post lockdown visit Of note I was very impressed with the superb hygiene efforts made for Covid prevention on our last visit in August ,Much better than a lot of other upmarket cafes I have seen .Oh , and the unique menu makes you smile!!!More

We recently visited Big Tom‘s Statue & just by chance called in, the best experience ever!! Greeted by Eileen & Fiona, they were the loviest people u could ever meet!! The food was so delicious, the service was excellent, they went above & beyond for...us, beautiful pictures of all the big names in Country music hanging on the walls, they made our trip! We can not do justice of how much we enjoyed our visit to their beautiful Tea Rooms, they made us feel so welcome, they showed us where Big Tom used to sit for his cuppa, they went through pictures with us that was on the wall, we can not thank you girls enough for giving us the loviest memories & making our trip! We were on a high for days after!! A visit to Eileen’s Tea Rooms is a must!! You will not be disappointed!!More

Called in for a quick bite to eat going through town. Looked like a cute wee tea room so we thought we'd give it a go. Served firstly by a extremely rude woman, with her hair hanging down around her face. I would hope this...was due to her having a bad day because if this is her attitude on a daily I dont know how this place is open. Bad enough as that was while I waited on out food had a look around the establishment to my horror! Yellow stained ceiling, I was alarmed 2 see wat looked like stacks of pre made cakes wrapped in tin foil piled up above a cupboard all the way to this celling !! Even the net curtain was rotten stained brown in the window. Between that and the staff hygiene with not a hair net in sight I'd worry about hygiene practices and food preparation. I shall not be returning !!More

They have the best lemon meringue pie, excellent grilled cheese on a hearty bread. Friendly, smiling servers and customers alike.

The pancakes in Eileen's are to die for! My favourite are the apple cinnamon. Lots of menu choice, good service and a friendly atmosphere.

It's high standards of providing quality food at a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and attentive. The cafe is relaxed, friendly and country style.

Just popped in for a cup of coffee, and it was pretty full with lots of customers. Service very good and the food being served to others looked very appetising.

In Ireland this is an historic town for so many reasons but for me it’s the warmth and friendliness of the locals that evaluate Castleblaney. A working lunch with fantastic customers was arranged for a Eileen’s. It was super good, my lasagne was home made...and I knew by its taste, texture and flavour it was so. Local towns serving local fresh produce need to be supported, I’m glad to do so. Thank you.More

Having a touring holiday around Ireland we stopped at Castleblayney where my grandmothers family came from. We happened on Eileen's! Apart from the great atmousphere and heavenly pancakes, the friendly waitress pointed us to Terry, the proprietor who, she said may have some info regarding...my Irish relatives. He was brilliant and he put us in touch with Michael, the local historian who was able to give us a lot more. What great people and such a lot goes on in the Tea Rooms too with may traditional well known musicians - we can't wait to go back. Sadly, on this occasion we had to leave as we had a very long drive in front of us. Even if you haven't got any relatives to trace, do visit and see for yourselves.More
