Converted farm building with the most excellent staff and food. Would highly recommend. You can breakfast on anything from Eggs Benedict to the Full Irish. Do give it a try.

I was in the Bistro today for a birthday dinner with my husband. On arrival we were met by such a friendly lady called 'Aoife'. She was so nice and welcoming even tough she said she only started three days ago - it was as if she was there years. The food was fab. We had a three course meal... More

Brought my mum for some Sunday Lunch. Beautiful interior and surrounding exterior. Food was beautiful but very little portions and very expensive. Loved the restaurant but not enough food.

Average food, high prices and lets be honest the service is very poor staff dont seem to care, more interested in getting out of the place, guys you have a lovely restaurant location & clearly have spent a lot of money, but are let down by the simple things & a bit of staff training wouldnt go a miss

Decided to have sunday lunch at The Bistro, Tankardstown. The first thing we noticed were the award citations on the walls for customer service and food quality. We had three observations vis-a-vis customer service: a) A starter arrived without one of the main ingredients. No apology until I raised the issue with the waiter. b) Had to ask for new... More

A cosy bar serving food all afternoon from 12 noon, wonderful afternoon tea and light suppers. Great tables on terrace for people watching and wine sipping during the summer!
