Our new Christmas Eve tradition is to eat out with all the ladies in the family to take a little break before the big day on Christmas. We all had starters and there was a great selection, the salad I had was a piece of...art, and so tasty. Once we had our entrees (and everyone ordered something different, the chef came out to great everyone at the table, in French and English. The wait staff was very attentive. And yes, we stayed for dessert. The atmosphere is pub like in a beautiful stone building. They have an above average wine list and great bar selection. This is my top restaurant in Meath hands down.More

We visited twice in December. The 1st time with our kids on Christmas eve then 6 days later, just myself and my husband. Food is absolutely amazing. We are local to the restaurant and have always liked. But the new chef has definitely made it...our favourite. Well done Dermott, Thomas and all staff. See you soon.More

Firstly, the staff were brilliant. Great service and on the ball, weren't left waiting for drinks, menus etc. The food was amazing. The wings and potato skins for starter were devine and the steak for the main was cooked to perfection. The chef coming round...to make sure you enjoyed your meal was such a good touch. Can't wait to go back.More

Back to this restaurant after a few months and what a great surprise! A New Chef and a renewed carte. Fine cuisine with beautiful locally sourced produces and a french touch. Also a warm, friendly and very professional service. Worth a visit and more!

We celebrated with the most sublime tasting menu paired with excellent wines. A truly wonderful evening in beautiful surroundings. Chef Thomas has brought this gem in the Meath countryside to another level. Continued success Dermot, James and Thomas. We look forward to our next visit.

We have just finished a beautiful dinner for 3 adults and 7 children and the staff and food could not have been nicer. We had a wonderful time and plan to visit again very soon. Thanks for being so accommodating and kind to your small...guests.More

Went for a family meal mid week. Had visited several times before with mixed service / dining experiences. This time was different level. New Chef Thomas is unreal. He takes the time to come out and explain his menu. Food is cooked to perfection and...seasoned brilliantly. Table service is hugely improved. It was a full house but never waiting, sign of a top restaurant. Will definitely be back.More

Excellent meal from start to finish. The service from the staff was excellent, not over attentive. Chef Thomas came out to all the tables and explained the days menu and the specials. The owner was friendly with everyone. An excellent experience.
