Stopped for some lunch. Everything about it was poor. The soggy sandwiches, dry inedible wraps, poor service. I will definitely not return. Not cut out for food and service. Staff didn’t know what they where doing. Poor.

Even the car park feels like arriving into an abandoned and uncared for premises. Reception area is OK, bar was freezing. The cafe/breakfast area is like a school canteen with steamed up windows and rather unappetising looking food. Only stayed for a coffee - which...More
Ate here three times in four days, once in the carvery and twice in the bar. Could not fault the food which was plentiful and tasty. Also reasonably priced for a hotel. However, the carvery area is non descript and the bar requires complete refurbishment....More
Had a few drinks in the bar here tonight. Dead as a dodo. Freezing cold and about as much an atmosphere as you'd find in a Cemetery. Besides this, the bar is a filthy kip. Management must be asleep or dopes....
I had a bar dinner at the Longford Arms. The atmosphere is the bar is a nicely judged Victorian revival. I sat at a table. As there was no floor staff, I asked for a menu from the barman. i gave my order. About twenty...More
Things are defiantly bad when the pathetic service is followed with food to match. Waiting and bar staff disorganised and boarder line rude. Served burnt chips and told that's just the way they come. Hadn't even the cop on to take drinks order with the...More
Simple enough hotel, food was ok and served to you like a canteen breakfast... Room was comfortable but would probably choose another hotel next time to compare within Longford town itself... The bar food in the evening was ok, but the staff were good... Would...More
An absolute classic carvery on offer. Wonderful, tasty beef, fresh fish, Lamb, seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings. A plate full of real wholesome Irish food for €10/€12. Great spot for a stop off also. Weather going west or east, north or south, you can...More
The hotel bar and restaurant was very dirty. The forks provided in the coffee shop were caked with food. No polishing of knives and forks. I was handed a plate that someone else obviously had used that was filthy. (We had to leave at that...More
The absolute worst meal I have ever eaten...I got a mixed grill that was completely burned and was obviously sitting a long time prior to ordering or serving.....my girlfriend was sick all night after her chicken
