An absolute classic carvery on offer. Wonderful, tasty beef, fresh fish, Lamb, seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings. A plate full of real wholesome Irish food for €10/€12. Great spot for a stop off also. Weather going west or east, north or south, you can get a great feed for very little or just enjoy a drink in the classicly... More

The hotel bar and restaurant was very dirty. The forks provided in the coffee shop were caked with food. No polishing of knives and forks. I was handed a plate that someone else obviously had used that was filthy. (We had to leave at that point) The carpet in the bar area has never seen a hover with spider webs... More

The absolute worst meal I have ever eaten...I got a mixed grill that was completely burned and was obviously sitting a long time prior to ordering or serving.....my girlfriend was sick all night after her chicken

I was astounded by the dirt of the restaurant area when I called in for lunch on Sunday 4-9-16. If this is how the public areas are treated I dread to think what the areas off limits to the public are like

We met a couple of old friends in Bornacoola on Monday and decided to take a break for lunch in Longford. We settled on the well-known Longford Arms where parking is easy and we expected to get some reasonable food. Well, expectations were truly exceeded on this occasion. A carvery service was available with a reasonable selection and we had... More

This hotel had been a great place for wedding in the past and it lost its way a bit in the past. But it looks to be on the up and the food been served is hearty and satisfying. I will definitely be back for more food.

Absolutely awful! There is no other way to describe the quality of the food, the service and the place. Filthy upholstery overworked staff eg one person waiting tables and serving the bar. No one to guide us to a suitable table. We ended up sitting in the bar on very low dirty chairs at a very high table. Very uncomfortable.... More
