We really enjoyed the food, so fresh and we weren’t waiting too long. “Ian” was sooo good with the kids, they loved his party trick with the glass. He was very funny and attentive. Will be back soon.

Great food super attentive staff very helpful we all had a super night thanks to Graham Emily and Matthew who looked after us We will be going back for more
Just an easy-going nice spot for a nice pint and a chat. Sat at the bar and enjoyed the crack, as it's got nice furnishing to go with the black stuff.
I returned the fish dish, as it was more batter and less fish. I got the steak sandwich instead, which was really good. The waitress, Fiona was very pleasant to us and was happy to arrange the alternative dish for me. We sat outside as...it was a lovely hot day. All in all we will go back, just give the fish a miss next time.More
Got a very tasty full irish ,plenty of food , Ian our waiter was so helpful and friendly, will definitely be back
Payed a visit to the establishment recently after not being back for over a year because of travel and pleasantly surprised to see the same waitress that served us previously, Amy is fantastic, she goes above and beyond to make sure we’re looked after. Her...cocktails are delicious Excellent pub standard. Food was great as always. Would recommend the fish and chips, big portions and very tasty! All round great experience as always.More
The staff were amazing. Unfortunately the person in charge of the quiz was extremely rude and uncooperative. Awful experience. Felt completely isolated. Would entirely recommend somewhere else, such as the Roost, for a quiz, since you are not made to feel like a nuisance for...even existing. 1/10 because of that inconsiderate quiz master. 10/10 otherwise.More
Had a lovely lunch in Mc Mahons on Friday 7th of April, 3 of us, beautiful food, reasonably priced as well, excellent service. The waiter / barman was some craic, didn't catch his name, but he has a party trick when he is putting a...drink down on the table he spins it 360 degrees without losing a drop, I swear I am still looking at him. A lovely pub and delighted we called in there.More
I ordered a half portion of the 'roast dinner'. To be fair ... the half portion was generous ..... but ....as, seems to be so often with pub food in Ireland..... the 'roast' was 3 slices of meat (beef in this case), served on a...mound of mash potato, with some very ordinary vegetables and instant gravy. Disappointing ..... I guess It did the job for dinner, but I def wouldn't rush back.More
Have been coming here for a long time for my dinners all of which are superb. It's a very hard choice from the menu as all cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the place itself is clean and very welcoming....I only recently discovered the all day breakfast which I would highly recommend as the best in MaynoothMore
Friendly, well run staff. Their food is delicious and good value. Comfortable, Great atmosphere, would highly recommend.
Lunch with friends, my food was inedible, it was discounted from the final bill, the other 3 meals were fine. Very disappointed
I highly recommend this pub the atmosphere is brilliant n you couldn't get nicer food anywhere, the staff are so friendly n warm 😀 but my biggest shout out is to Sally she's amazing 💖
Great pub with excellent food at a reasonable price. We had dinner in McMahon's Bar on Saturday last and I can say it was one of the best experiences I've had in quite a while. The food was delicious (we all had different meals and...each one was lovely) and a big thank you to Ian who is an example to all in the service industry of how to make people feel good about their experience. Thank you!More
Really great experience. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Ian who has the magic touch of humour, craic, efficiency and attention. Can’t recommend enough!
