On our way back to France, we stayed at a bed and breakfast and this pub was recommended : nothing to regret about the choice: I have never seen such an incredible pub with all the antiques and trinkets , and so big . the...food was simple but very generous , for a cheap price. Don't hesitate to pop in!More

I've been to the old school house 3 times in my short trip to Ireland and it has not failed to impress me. The food is amazing and the Guinness is Guinness. Obviously the food here is the selling point. Prices are fair, not cheap,...not expensive. They seem to have hit a perfect point with the price, the food is 100% worth it. If I find myself in the Dublin/Swords area of Ireland again I will return with friends.More

We've been back in ireland four years, today for my birthday, we eat at the Old school house, I have to say it was the best meal out we've had since returning to Ireland. Well done to all, menu, food and service absolutely perfect.

Terrible recent experience, my party were verbally abused by one of the senior bar staff. We had been seated by a junior member of staff, and as they brought our first drinks order to the table another senior staff member, proceeded to shout at us,...and harass us over a misunderstanding over the table. We had taken a vacant table and the junior staff member had brought our drinks and was cleaning our table when the other staff member started to verbally attack us, We tried to explain, but he refused to listen and instead continued to shout at us in front of other patrons, I cancelled our food, paid for my drinks order, and left immediately, disheartened and upset with the treatment, he was unapologetic when I approached him on his behaviour, which I considered unprofessional and uncalled for. We were regular patrons prior to this incident, and the staff have always been accommodating and welcoming,More

My taxi driver recommended this place for the food. I dropped in and was met by a very polite and courteous young bartender. His name was Eoighan (AKA Mad dog.) I had the steak which was very good and reasonably priced. The service throughout the...evening was excellent and I would certainly drop back in the next time I am in the area.More

I was there today with family very disappointed over the price for the quality. Burger I got was cold and nothing special frozen chips half chicken very dry gravy which I love was the worst experience u can taste knor tick up. Wings was ok...but for that price they could do bit effort to make baffolo sous which is not hard io make it at home!!! I'll come back there for a pint but food no thank you, McDonald, do a better job on a burger not recommended at allMore

Our experience today was very different to the last one. We found hairs in 2 different meals not once anyone apologised whatever. Of course we were made to pay for everything. No one checked how was our meal, no one offered any dessert and of...course no one cleared our plates. When leaving guess what no one bid us farewell. I can let certain things to slip but this was just too much.More

If your lucky there is parking right outside,if not the main street should have parking and if still no luck there is a car park around the corner with plenty of spots

You can only reserve a table for the restaurant section not the bar, I probably would book in case it's busy but if you haven't booked you could be lucky
