My Fiancée and I landed in last night at half 8 in the middle of storm Jorge. The owner and the chef were sitting by the fire as they had stopped serving food because of the weather. Even though the kitchen was closed they very kindly offered to make us food, saying that they wouldn’t send us home hungry. The chef, Chris, made us two absolutely lovely Cod and Chips which we ate by the fire whilst chatting to the owners. Amazing food and great Craic on a Stormy night. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and we could’ve happily sat by the cosy fire all night - would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We stopped here for lunch on a cold and windy Saturday afternoon. We got a window seat overlooking rossnowlagh beach the view was spectacular and made for a great atmosphere the food ordered was excellent seafood chowder and fresh prawn open sandwiches were delicious. They have a very good menu to suit all tastes and prices. The bar was very cosy and the staff are excellent will definitely recommend this venue and I will certainly be back

Myself and my wife booked for a meal as we knew that this place had just been taken over with new owners. We were excited as we heard that the new owners had made changes to menu introducing an indian fusion theme into their menu. Well, were we disappointed ( understatement ). Ordered food, shared a vegetable platter starter took 1 hour to arrive, no salad dressing and when we asked for sauces we were offered ketchup. when we asked was there any other kind we were given sriracha. Ordered a glass of wine, got a half measure. Mains were just ok. Overall view is that we won't be going back. Poor service with underated food and also menu is very limited, one to avoid. We had a couple lunches and dinners at the Gaslight Inn Restaurant during our most recent stay in Rossnowlagh and were very happy with all of them. The new management and staff are very friendly, and I loved the blend of choices of Indian and Irish specialties. Also lots of vegetarian dishes, which is rare in Ireland (though a vegetarian burger would round up the menue ☺️)!

A little gem in Donegal is the only way to describe The Gaslight Inn at Rossnowlagh. What a fantastic apartment, spotless and everything you need for a lovely holiday. As if this isn’t enough an amazing restaurant is there to provide you with an amazing selection of top quality food served to perfection. Anthony and Pauline are there to make sure your stay is a memorable one and packed with special memories. We would recommend The Gaslight Inn to anyone looking a nice relaxed few days away with amazing views from all the apartments…..never had the tv switched on! Beach is only a 2 min walk and plenty of things going on to keep your day busy. We had a fabulous time. Mark,Paula and Zavana

The new management and menu are utterly fantastic!! The new Indian style food is just what Rossnowlagh needed. The food arrived very quickly and it was outstanding. The stand out dish for me was the chilli garlic main, not too spicy but enough to make your nose run! The new staff are incredibly friendly and the service was fantastic! Definitely will be back next time we’re in the area.

We spent a weekend & from the onset the hospitality received from the owners was second to none. They went above & beyond to make our stay memorable .We stayed in the penthouse apartment & I have to say it was so beautifully decorated and homely & met all our needs as a family of 4. The apartment itself is of a very high standard throughout & stunning views overlooking Rossnowlagh beach. Thank you Pauline & Anthony for acommodating us at very short notice & we will definitely be back to visit again. The weekend to say the least was "Blissfull" from start to finish. Wonderful hosts & a truly magnificent spot.

Excellent accommodation light, bright, airy and spotless. We stayed in the Penthouse apartment with balcony to the front with magnificent sea views and seating area to the back which was a sun trap. Parking provided too. The hosts were lovely! We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant with a great beach view window table. Very relaxed! Thanks for a wonderful stay and we'll be back!

We’re just back from our weeks holiday in the Gaslights new apartments. We are a family of 6 and were so well looked after by Pauline and Anthony that we have already booked our stay for next year. The views from the Gaslight apartments are unreal, the apartments are all new, so clean & fresh. They very well located for touring around the north west. Thank you so much Paulineo and Antonio for your wonderful hospitality as always

My family and I are just back from an amazing week's stay in the Gaslight! The newly refurbished apartment fitted 4 of us comfortably. The apartment is modern, very clean, practical and has a spectacular view. Our apartment had a lovely balcony which we used on many occasions to watch the sunset. Pauline and Anthony were superb hosts and couldn't be more helpful. The food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious also. We can't wait to stay again next year!

This is a great place to have a bite to eat. The view is stunning, over looking the sea and beach. Service is excellent, friendly and professional staff. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Actually it was so good, I bought food for the next day. Best of luck to the new owners.

My family, mum and dad stayed for one night, wish we could have stayed longer. The apartments are stylish and spotless with a spectacular view. They have everything you need. Anthony and Pauline are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much bother. We also had a drink in the bar which was lovely and homely. Hope to stay again soon and taste the cuisine. Gillian
