We ate in Hughies this week one of the evenings. While there we had a couple of drinks with delicious stone baked thin base pizzas with salad. They were fantastic. Staff are friendly, seating in a spacious modern interior. Will return this week to try...their burger.More

Visited Hughies and found the staff very friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and the food very good. Posh pizza of duck and pear was light and tasty. OH happy to recommend the pork and apple burger.

We stumbled across this place while looking for a last minute dinner in Killybegs- what a pleasant surprise! Every single staff member we met was INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful. We commented that we felt that we were in a 5* hotel due to the service....We ordered pizza and a charcuterie board- both delicious and high quality, with a great selection of cheese. Fantastic people, and great food. Far above what we expected in a bar. Restaurant quality. Thanks again so much. Looking forward to being back.More

Visited hughies during covid19, the staff were incredibly responsible and safe, without losing that lovely friendly donegal chat! Enjoyed some stunning cocktails and wine alongside a divine cheeseboard. Brilliant vibes for a Saturday night in killybegs!

My mum, two sisters and myself recently visited this well known Killybegs bar. I have to commend the chef on his delicious exotic duck pizza. It was scrumptious. I have to say even though the place was very busy (while adhering to covid guidelines &...2m distancing) the service was excellent and the waiting staff were very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience in Hughie’s bar and can’t wait to return. 👌🏼More

Had a wonderful night in Hughies topped off with a tour from the man himself. The buddha bowl was delicious as was the Guinness. Great decor and lovely staff who managed to maintain the craic through social distance and the masks. The wheelchair access is...worth a mention too, really superb, oh a great view of the harbour!More

Visited Highies with a few friends and my two kids recently. Loved the ambiance, lighting and background music. The pizzas were advertised as Posh Pizzas...absolutely beautiful, and very different from the usual pizza offerings. We ate 2 pizzas, the barman platter and had a few...drinks. The owner suggested plain sausages and chicken goujons for the kids which were lovely. Particularly impressed with the Covid set up, made us feel very safe and very much at ease through these times. I'd like to say " thank you" to the proprietor for going that extra mile to accommodate my daughters needs. Will definitely be back and would recommend Hughies highly.More

Spent a night with friends in Hughies bar recently. The bar itself is lovely having recently been renovated to be a safe environment during these Covid times. However it has achieved that and much more. It is such a stylish space providing a relaxed atmosphere....Pizzas are delicious especially apple and smoked cheese and the duck! We also had a barman’s platter which gave a selection of tasty nibbles to the table. Service was great with all our drinks needs being tended to regularly. Would highly recommend and look forward to my next visit.More
