Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had dinner at The White Horse in Ballincollg this evening. We had the fish and chips and the steak and both were absolutely delicious!! The staff were so welcoming, friendly and attentive and could not do enough for us. The atmosphere here was great,...it’s very warm and cosy. A special mention to Kasia for being so attentive and looking after us for the night. Would highly recommend!!More

Absolutely fabulous... as usual. Food gorgeous, staff amazing... it really shows how training helps. Soup, chowder, salad, burgers... all divine. Great service. Don't tell too many people though 😁😁... I might not get a table the next time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The food was delicious. We were served very well by Kasia. All the dishes she recommended to us were very good. Everyone found something for themselves and left with a smile. I recommend the chocolate brownie dessert, the best in Ireland.

Excellent service from Kasia who was very thoughtful of the needs of our kids. Food was good and nice ambience. There was live football on the TV when we were there. Restaurant was full house so reservations are recommended.

Visited the bar restaurant for the first time today. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. You will not leave feeling hungry. We eat out quite regularly and must concede that this was our best meal in Cork in quite a while.
