Lovely place. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Provided a delicious chowder to two tired and hungry sailors despite kitchen not actual serving at the time, and helped us on our way to the airport. All care very much appreciated.

Called in for dinner early on a Sunday afternoon to find both fish dishes on the already limited menu offerings were sold out. Considering its location overlooking the harbour this shouldn't really happen however one must consider the difficulties of offering extensive menu's due to...Covid etc, and also as it was early afternoon we may possibly have landed between lunch and dinner. We reluctantly ordered the slow cooked brisket from the few options remaining and whilst it is not a dish I would purposefully order, I must admit it was very tender and flavoursome, served with mash, carrot, beetroot and romanesco cauliflower. The dish was well rounded and ate very well albeit that it was on the small side. We found the servers to be pleasant and efficient, however the restaurant was cold at our time of dining and we also unfortunately began our meal just before the commencement of a very noisy children's party. It is a beautiful setting and I would certainly stop for lunch again if in the area, but probably would not travel especially for it.More
Amazing food - calamari so fresh with delicious salad! Lovely ambiance and really good value will definitely be back. Thanks
Had a meal here today with my partner. It’s a lovely little pub with friendly staff and nice view. I found the food portions to be a bit small ( maybe I’m just fat tho) but everything on our plates was delicious. Has a great...choice on the menu to cater for everyone’s needs. All in all a decent aul spot. I’d return. Thanks.More
Excellent food, service and engagement throughout our evening!! The squid, steak and fish and chips are favourites!!
Amazing food, ambiance, service and staff. We had a super visit to the restaurant upstairs with a view over the harbour.
We ate in JP’s bar The Oar Crosshaven twice on our trip. Awesome service, Craic, food and drink. Recommend the Calamari for starter, steak for main and a nice Jameson to end :) We also had a nice fish & chips and chicken wings which...were delish..More
