We were a table of 5 and all of us really enjoyed our pasta lunch, sitting outside in the September sun. Waitress was lovely and friendly too. Definitely recommend this place.

Had the absolute pleasure of dining on the patio of the rivers end cafe today and wow, just a fabulous eatery with brilliant friendly staff😊. Food excellent and love how there is a cultured twist to the menu. Such a super spot in crosshaven and...keep up the great work in your fabulous cafe restaurant. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟More
My and family and I have been coming to the River End Cafe for years now and it's as fantastic today as it was when I first went there over 10 years ago. The menu for breakfast and lunch is great, with a healthy ingredients,...generous portions and always presented impeccably. The staff are very hard working, provide excellent customer service and above all in my opinion; are friendly and chatty to all their customers. The location of the cafe is excellent, especially when the weather is kind and you can sit outside. It would be great if they could add a small extension to cater for a bit more space inside and to add a few more tables as it can be hard to get a table when times are busy. Overall; well worth a visit for breafast, lunch or even a nice coffee and some cake. Continued success to the owner and her staff.More
Visited Rivers End Cafe today for lunch. It was very busy so we returned an hour later to find a beautiful table outside waiting for us. The view was amazing. It was difficult picking lunch from the menu as there were so many dishes we...wanted to try! The seafood chowder and the chicken and chorizo salad were amazing. Very good, friendly service. Would definitely recommend and will look forward to visiting again when we are next in the area. Would enjoy working my way through the menu.More
This is a small busy cosy cafe and getting a table can be difficult particularly if you are a large group. The seating is quirky and makes the best of the space available. Some people may feel a little cramped but the setting with the...sea view is nice. We have found the service to be pleasant and friendly. The food is fresh, cakes and tarts are really nice and the coffee is good. This is a good stop if in Crosshaven and there is ample public parking close by.More

Myself and my family have eaten at the rivers end many times and the food and service are always spot on. Kids favourite are the pancakes for brunch. Great food, great services and a great view.
We came as a family 2 adults and 2 teens for a cuppa at 15:10. We had only entered the cafe when a member of staff approached us to tell us we couldn't be seated or served for at least 30 minutes in spite of...the fact that there were plenty of tables free.We literally hadn't even opened our mouths to ask for anything.Presumably she was wanting an easy ride until closing time. If I could score this place negatively, I would. If you fancy a better experience in Crosshaven, go to Cronins for friendly staff and good coffee and snacks.More
I came here for a takeaway coffee on sunday afternoon after walking my dog. now I was alone so I had to take the dog inside with me to order my coffee and then would sit outside in their outdoor seating area. I have a...small well behaved dog who sat next to me as I stood near the fridges in the cafe waiting to order. while the staff seemed to ignore the two elderly ladies in front of me, I then heard a tall girl with glasses shout at me to "get out with the dog" from behind the counter. now I understand dogs are not allowed in most restaurants but I simply was ordering a takeaway coffee with the intention of sitting outside. as I tried to explain this to the staff, the same girl again told me to get out. I was absolutely shocked at the way she spoke to me. stupidly I ordered a coffee and took a seat outside, which I regretted immediately. I was later speaking to a couple with their dog who told me they had also previously experienced something similar when they had gone there with their dog. now, did your staff honestly think I was planning on sitting inside with my dog?? what if my dog was a service dog and had to come and sit inside with me?? I will never be returning to this cafe ; with or without my dog.More
