Shocked at how overpriced the food is and can’t help but notice the quality is deteriorating. Taking advantage of the lack of competition in the town by over charging customers for food that is of poor quality. The staff are usually rude, dismissive and unhappy...which could indicate there is a negative relationship with management. The place has potential to be great again but can’t mask it’s greedy strive for profit these days.More

Visited today with my sister and two young nieces for the first time as we were passing through Carrigaline. We were first told although soup is on the menu they don’t have any on a Sunday . My niece ordered pancakes which were delicious and...I had a spicy sausage roll which I really enjoyed but the food is not my issue. Although the staff were pleasant they were not friendly and I wasn’t greeted with a hello or any pleasantry at all. I am a waitress myself and have been for many years and couldn’t believe the lack of service from such a well established name. We were half way through our meal before the water we had ordered when we arrived was brought to the table. I then watched as a Member of staff picked a bowl of salad from the deli area and began to sniff what was inside to see if it was fresh I imagine?(We were seated in the booth directly across from the deli). A family of 5 with young children then walked in (at 14.40) and were told they could not order pancakes from the menu as it was now just cake and coffee as they closed at 4 O’clock , I understand how frustrating it can be when you’re beginning to close and wind down especially on a Sunday but not to accommodate a family with kids and with over an hour to go? I was disappointed to witness that. Finally as I approached the till to pay a young man was ahead of me and asked for a wrap and was told the sandwiches were finished although the deli was still full , the girl behind the counter agreed to make him one but then when giving him the sandwich informed he had until 15.15 because they would then be closing the seating area...I know if that was me I would have felt very uncomfortable After paying for my lunch and too be made feel like I Couldn’t enjoy it because I had a time frame. When I was paying I then met another member of staff who was lovey and pleasant and asked me if I enjoyed my food , which I did. It wasn’t a very enjoyable place to eat my lunch on a Sunday and I wouldn’t rush back. The staff I came in contact with didn’t seem very confident.More

Just finished one of the best Irish breakfasts I've ever had, the black and white pudding were excellent, thoroughly recommend and would definitely come back. Staff are friendly and welcoming too. Thank you

Recently visited Hassets for weekend brunch. Service was sloppy. Very slow and they clearly have no system of table numbering, because the server had to walk around from table to table asking if they had ordered the special sandwich and the Italian bap, before eventually...finding us. Staff were pleasant, just not confident. The Italian Bap was fine, but the only special about the "Hassetts Special" sandwich is that it seems to have been punch before being thrown on the plate. There was a side of slaw, which had about as much flavour as a ball of damp newspaper. I don't think they've discovered salt and pepper yet. The cappuccinos were barely frothed. Not the first time I've had a below par experience here. Maybe the lack of competition in this market in Carrigaline is causing complacency.More

We stayed in the locality for a couple of days and had our breakfast there each day. We were never disappointed. An extremely popular establishment, which is testament to the quality, value and choice of food options on offer. Something to suit everyone , try...it for yourself, you will be delighted you did. Service was friendly but staff was a bit overwhelmed and orders were mixed up. The food did arrive quickly although they were out of orange juice and had no alternative other than more tea. Everything tasted fresh. Good coffee too.

Mum and I had two Irish breakfasts. Absolutely beautiful. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Possibly the best Irish breakfast I’ve had. Would recommend and will be returning!
