Aroi is a multi-award-winning restaurant. Executive chef Fadilah, who was named "Best Asian Fusion Chef In Ireland 2019/2020' has traveled extensively in Asia sourcing new ideas and recipes she can bring back to Aroi in Ireland. Our ethos is to serve market fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our healthy dishes are easily adapted to suit our Vegan and vegetarian guests. Just ate in Aroi in Carrigaline and I was absolutely delighted with the service ,ambiance but most importantly for me THE FOOD , it was outstanding, full of flavour, great ingredients and good portion sizes . The value for money too was incredible, dinner for 2 with starters , mains and 4 glasses of really nice wine came to €80. We will definitely be going back and I think it'll be a regular eatery for us. Aroi is a very welcome addition to Carrigaline, a taste of the orient on the banks of the Owenabue . The very best of luck (although I don't think it'll be needed) to all the staff and proprietors of Aroi , outstanding!

Went in here yesterday with my daughter as a treat for her doing well on a exam.
Was greeted by a lovely friendly manger who sat us at a roomie table she explained the menu to us and helped us picked the prefect dish. Even explained the sizes or where they rice or noddles dishes and the ones we couldn’t pronounce.
When my daughter asked her for a mocktail she took the time to find out what my daughter liked and didnt like.
She made up a mocktail for my daughter service it to her in a fancy wine glass and my daughter was so happy she went straight on to snap chat to tell all her friends.
Our food came down and all I can say was wow the choices she helped us with were amazing. I tried my daughter dish it was delicious.
It was quite in the Restaurant the music was great service was amazing and more to the point my daughter felt like a princesses when we got home she was still raving about her special drink 🍹 honestly really couldn’t recommend this place more and thank you to that lovely manger she is a real credit to ye 👏👏👏👏I can’t wait to come back and try the cocktails. ye will be sick of us coming in now 🤣

Aroi is described as an Asian Fusion restaurant.
We had booked a table, were offered drinks immediately on being seated, and given the varied menu.
The restaurant was really busy. Our food was delicious with all in our party pleased with the quality of food. The yellow fish curry and lamb rendang curries were particular favourites. The drinks menu is good and decaffeinated coffee available.
We will be back.

I ordered a delivery from Aroi on Sunday 4th of December and the order was confirmed by the restaurant, with an estimated delivery time of 60 mins.
However, the order just never arrived.
The restaurant never answered the phone when I tried to enquire what the issue was, and never replied to my follow up email days later.
Absolutely crazy for a restaurant to just cancel/not fulfil an order with no reason or notice given.
Maybe the food in the restaurant is nice, but if you’re taking their delivery option you may be waiting quite a while…

We booked for 15 people, when we arrived we had 2 tables men sat at one women at the other. Men got their drinks first as they ordered pints, unfortunately we ordered some cocktails and were waiting nearly 40mns for them. In the meantime the men had ordered there food, we got our drinks and the men got their food. The men were just finished the food when we got ours. The men got another drink, we ordered one again there was a long wait, men were gone by the time we got our second drink. We asked and recieved a dessert menu but we waited so long for someone to come back and take the order in the end we just asked for the bill which we didn't have to wait for. The staff were lovely and the food was fabulous, but the service was horrendous. 😔😔😔😔

I ordered the char kuey teow.
Ordered through just eat and it arrived sooner than expected which was nice.
The food:
Quality is excellent, nice juicy succulent prawns, I got 5 in my dish which was a bit tight.
The flavour was amazing and well seasoned
Came with a fresh wedge of lime which was a nice touch.
Cost €14 + €3 for delivery, which wasn't cheap, but would happily pay for quality food.
But the biggest let down was the quantity. It came in a tiny folded tub, I immediately felt a bit scammed.
I then opened the tub and it was only 2/3's full.
One third noodles and then generously topped with bean sprouts, it was genuinely a starter portion.
Was left hungry after and Without any exaggeration you'd be expecting at least twice the amount.
I really found little to no value and was really let down. Such a pity as it's so promising, food quality is excellent but don't expect to this to fill the hunger gap.

Had dinner here recently and the food was very good. The restaurant itself was extremely loud though and the tables are much too close together. Also within less than 5 minutes 4 different staff members interrupted us eating to ask how our food was! Some coordination so we were not constantly interrupted would have been good. Would go back for the lovely food but likely would get a takeaway next time.

We recently had a birthday party for 40 people upstairs in Aroi and the experience from start to finish was excellent. We had the area private to ourselves. We arranged a menu with Don in advance and there was even a Steak option for anyone that didn"t like Asian food. The service, food and Cocktails were 5 star. A great night had by all, we will definitely be back.

Overall a disappointing experience. Spare ribs tough and salty. Sticky rice presented as a "lump" in ridiculous clingfilm parcel, undercooked, and made from the wrong rice. And costs more! Three of the four meals arrived, the fourth a full 10 minutes later. Hong Kong chicken, which I'd ordered and enjoyed on a previous visit, was so salty that it burned my mouth. When I told the waiter that the food was too salty, she smiled, agreed and moved on🤣. Of the four of us, two happy diners, one unimpressed sticky rice lover, and one (he who pays the bill) who will not return! Rating 2.4 / 5

Absolutely wonderful dining experience at Aroi! Amazing welcome from owner who gave us lots of attention explaining menu choices. The food was of extremely high quality and the prawn starter was the best I have tasted anywhere in years. Highly recommended!

Absolutely Fantastic Experience, 1st time for 4 of the 6 and WOW. Everyone's Starters & Mains were cooked , presented and tasted exceptional. The restaurant decor/setting is to a high standard and all the staff were so friendly and helpful.
I highly recommended Aroi .

Amazing tasty, fresh & flavoursome food . The Hong Kong chicken is gorgeous , as is the Red Thai curry. The Khao pad was one of my personal favourites. I liked that the heat aspect of each dish advertised was as stated, as our family are a mixture of heat and non heat lovers . Across the board , the crispness of the vegetables and overall freshness and flavours of each dish shone through. We thoroughly enjoyed it and most definitely would recommend.

Excellent authentic Malay and Thai food and perfect service at all times. We had a family dinner for 11 people with a 8 members coming over from London. The range of dishes catered from traditional Thai curry to Malay dishes. The portions are generous. We had vegan and vegetarian in our group and they were very pleased with the options on offer. The drinks and beer selection is great too as Asahi on draft! The restaurant is also very well styled and decorated creating a lovely atmosphere and ambience. We’ll be back next time!

Take away was absolutely delicious. Service was perfect...advised 40 mins and it was exactly 40 mins. Food was just devine....booked for New Year's eve again...fantastic addition to Carrigaline

Myself and a group of friends ate here in Aroi last evening. A great impression from the minute we stepped inside! Really lovely décor, very welcoming and tastefully done. The food was just gorgeous 💞 all 5 of us had varied dishes and all were lovely and very generous portions 👍
Very pleasant staff. A definite thumbs up 👍 recommendation
