We went for lunch here and to try the tasty sounding cakes. The whole family was happy with what they ordered and I can highly recommend the "liquorice-cheesecake". The bonbon's sold there were however not for me. Very well made but in my opinion overpriced.
Porvoo is an old town located appr. 50km east of Helsinki. There are many old wooden houses along a river. One of them isa chacolate shop "Petris Chocolate Room". They sell a variety of handmade chocolate. It's fun to select own favourite one.
A small but delicious selection of sweets and chocolates in the surrounds of a lovely cafe. We had a brief stop to try the Runeberg torte, meringues and some of the chocolate with a coffee and hot chocolate.
Amazing little chocolate shop, could not go there too many times. Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, very prompt with service and very kind.
The best chocolate found on our 10 days in Finland. Make the trip, it’s worth it!
My second time to this place and yet again it was delishious ❤️ I had tiny hiccup in my drinkorder, got a new one and one chocolate was brought to me (which was a nice suprise😊) Two ladies behind the counter were very helpfull and...smiling to every customer.
On the website (and here aswell) you have wrong opening time, luckily we had no rush 😂
