Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tuorila's Home Bakery is also known as Tuorilan Kotileipomo or Traditional Finnish Bakery. This bakery was established in the early 1960's. They make traditional Finnish breads and buns. You don't find cakes here but many kinds of buns are extremely delicious. You may also buy take away products here.

We skipped dessert at lunch because we were saving ourselves for baked goods. We are so glad we did! Everything at this bakery is delicious. We bought several items to eat immediately and several to take home. Everyone was very happy!

Great home made food and simple drinks. Wonderful place to watch the world go by. Less touristy than rest of town. Not to be missed

A small, lovely bakery with traditional products. They also serve coffee or tea and there are some sitting places so you can have a relaxed pause while visiting Porvoo.

We stopped here after seeing the bakery sign near the Porvoo Cathedral. Glad we did, sweets were good as was the coffee.

Perfect cup of coffee, great fresh pastries. Small but very tidy, timely shelter from the rain. Easy location right outside the cathedral.

A gorgeous little cafe with a range of pastries, breads, sandwiches etc with tea coffee etc. Very inexpensive, friendly lady serving and more tables outside than inside. I tried a cardamon butter pan bun Yoyvola?? Plain but nice. It was a local speciality which was why I chose it rather than the Danish, doughnuts, cinnamon buns on display which all looked delicious. Nice to support a small local business.

It's hard to get a bad pastry in Finland - they Finns know how to do it right. This place, however, is on another level. I enjoyed the Marjapirakka which had a delicious strawberry sauce and pieces of stewed rhubarb in it, and my wife had a Korvapuistti - both were amazing.

I was visiting the cathedral in Porvoo and spotted this traditional bakery on the corner with outdoor and indoor seating. the lady who owned it was very welcoming and I had a great cup of coffee and a rather sumptuous strawberry Danish pastry. the little café was very busy with people - both locals and visitors. I shared a table with some ladies from Norway. The décor is rustic but comfortable and pleasing. The café also had a toilet.
Definitely worth a stop for a delicious coffee and cake.

First time in Porvoo I just found this cute bakery at the corner in old town (so it’s really well located).
The owner is a friendly and warmhearted person you can have wonderful conversations with. Prices are very low for finland what was surprising me! You get sweet baked good for 1€-2.50€ and bread for 4€.
Also as a place for a break it’s very cozy to sit inside!
I‘d recommend it and come back

We were staying for one night in Porvoo and wanted breakfast in town. When strolling around in the old Porvoo on Friday afternoon we found this bakery. We asked if they had breakfast in saturday mornings. Unfortynately the owner said that normally they have breakfast only during the week, but she could fix a tray for us. We went back on Saturday and had a wonderful morning with new baked bread, fresh vegetables and good coffee in a cosy athmosphere. The lady serving us in the morning was very kind and made the feeling of a lazy morning perfect.
