I have had their Italian dinners and it was Ok but I think the pizza is far better. In fact, I only go back for the pizza now because I have found no better from Nogales to Green Valley. If it wasn't for the atmosphere being somewhat basic and an overly priced bar the review would have been higher. Still,... More

Friends took us here for lunch and while it was OK - food, atmosphere, service - it was nothing special. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the dishes come off the truck rather than being made in house as they don't have anything special to set them apart. But if you are in Green Valley or Tubac and... 1st visit to Italian Peasant..........had heard it was very good, unfortunately we found it a bit disappointing. Went for Italian food, should have seen the light when we ran into people from our community there, & they were both having burgers, which are also supposed to be good. I had the veal parmigian, not thinly sliced as I believe it... More

We all ordered and were served promptly however my baked pasta casserole was not hot......I asked that it be put in the microwave........when our three friends were half thru with their dinner and our waiter had not returned my husband went looking for our waiter and my dinner.......our waiter was busy and my dinner was sitting on the counter......it came... We went here for dinner with friends, probably should have ordered pizza. The Caesar salads were fine. Pasta portions are huge, easily enough for 2. The Pasta Regina is really tasty, flavorful and the sauce wasn't too heavy. The Pasta Fresca and Spaghetti and Meatballs are also fine. The Pasta Primavera was awful, the vegetables were raw, the sauce was... More

I often have lunch here with a friend from Green Valley, AZ. Their Peasant Burger is so delicious with just about every topping you can think of and is so big that we usually share it. It comes with a big portion of great hand cut french fries, that is also split without anyone feeling disappointed. They serve beer and wine.... More

Stopped here for dinner on our way to the hotel. Had the Dom's Special Pizza and a glass of Cabernet and it made my day. Pizza was perfectly thin and the garlic flavor was not overpowering. It had the right amount of toppings and all of them were fresh. Will definitely come back!

Perhaps we should have ordered the pizza and made it easier, but our server made mistakes on every single portion of our order from the wine on. The dinners came before the salads, and one of our four dinners was the wrong dinner, so my sister had to wait an extra 10 to 15 minutes for her entrée. The desserts... More

We went with another couple and we all ordered something different. I had the chicken parmigiana. I liked that it was baked and not fried. Served over pasta and lots of sauce. However I was disappointed in the sauce not having much flavor.

We had pizza, antipasto and drinks for a late dinner. It was very busy but our server was attentive and good. The pizza was good not quite the New York pizza I was expecting but good. The antipasto was enough for 2 to share. We would probably go again the next time we are in Tubac.
