Great place if you like a lot of options to chose from and all the food is awesome. This location is always packed. So be patience as it is so worth the wait. Once seated you will be glad you waited.

The ice tea was Ok. The cup of soup, sweet and sour cabbage soup, was average to. The flavor was close to Ok, but a little bit to sugary and made with diluted tomato paste, difficult to combine with the cabbage and make it interesting. The small Greek salad was big enough, so that I was unable to finish it.... More
Our friends took us to Chompies for breakfast last week and we were blown away by the large number of breakfast selections on the menu... every plate that passed by our table looked delicious! Once our breakfast plates showed up, we could hardly believe our eyes, such large portions! Needless to say, we brought over half our meal home for... More
Stopped here for breakfast while in Tempe. Service was very good.Great menu with lots of options for breakfast or lunch. Restaurant clean and food was very good. Their bakery looked awesome!!! Would definately recommend to anyone visiting the area.
There on a Saturday morning, so very crowded and somewhat loud. Service good, just a little slow due to crowd. Not a very long wait for a table. However, DO NOT buy their CARBS NOT! bread sold in the lobby. Got some to take home as gifts to diabetics friends - they hated it! Chewy and bad tasting. So, $11.98... More
I stopped in here after a native New Yorker told me this was the closest to a Jewish deli in the area. I had the pastrami on rye, which I have had at Katz's deli in NY. The meat was excellent but the potions were a little smaller than you would get in NY. Still a must try.
I went to Chompies this afternoon to take advantage their St. Patrick's Day Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner. My experience started off well. I arrived shortly before 3 pm and I was delighted to have arrived at an hour when they weren't busy at all. I was seated immediately in a nice booth, and water was quick to follow. I... More
My first experience at Chompies, in 2000, featured the best bagels west of the Mississippi. They're not as good now, but still, better than chain store bagels. Bakery items are excellent, portions art ample for 2 people
Combination restaurant and bakery. Went for lunch extensive menu. Our group had pastrami sandwiches ( 2 of us split one), sampler potato pancakes, , tuna melt, and corned beef. Sandwiches thick with meat, choice of breads and side of cole slaw , which had grapes in it. Different and good. Too full for dessert but bought ruglach, and another pastry... More
