I ordered the Brown Sugar Salmon. Expected a seared salmon with a brown sugar glaze. Could not see or taste any brown sugar. Much better at local Coltons My salad was soggy in dressing with wilted lettuce. Not fresh at all. My wife had the...lobster pasta that had minimal small lobster and was too salty to eat Good service and view but not what we had hoped. Have had several people from our home town who warned us.More

When judging a restaurant I look at food preparation, service and ambiance based on the price charged. In all three categories this restaurant is excellent. Our server could not have been more attentive or knowledgeable about the menu. The sunset and night views were spectacular!

We arrived late for our reservation due to complications at the car rental (never rent from Thrifty. We called to let them know & they held our table for us. Looked like a wedding reception/party downstairs with DJ & dancing. Top of the Rock is...probably my favorite restaurant anywhere in the world. And we travel a lot. We were lucky enough to get a table outside on the deck. The weather was perfect – about 65 degrees and we had a view of the entire city of Phoenix. Planes landing & taking off about 2 miles away. Our waiter, Alphonso, was most sympathetic and helpful – of course my. wife had to explain all our troubles and apologize for being late. She ordered the squash & truffle ravioli appetizer, and I had a beet & pear salad with walnuts – possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. We had a bottle of red blend and split an order of scallops & prawns. Absolutely delicious. I had said we were celebrating our anniversary when I made the reservation. Alphonso brought us a complementary desert.. A great end to a stressful day. We did a quick check-in at the hotel & I was in bed asleep about 10 minutes later.More

My wife and I stopped by for her birthday. Made a reservation a few days prior with no issues. The restaurant was a bit awkward to get to as the Arizona State baseball stadium is right the behind the restaurant parking lot. It's tucked in...a bit from the main roads so pay attention to your GPS is using one. The restaurant itself was very much a let down. Inside, the carpets were nasty and very much in need of a deep cleaning or just to be replaced. Once checked in, we were seated in the back by the windows looking out across the Phoenix skyline. The view was OK, nothing to write home about. Much nicer once the sun went down. The windows were dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. We waited about 45 minutes for our food which wasn't too bad but not the best. Very small portions so if you go pretty hungry then you'll be disappointed. For the price, we both have had much better. During dinner we kept having to swat away flies and I believe our server checked on us twice in the 1 1/2 hours we were there. Overall, save your money or research a different restaurant. I wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone.More

This dining experience was incredible. First off, the view was the best. Additionally, the service and manager were amazing. Rarely do I encounter a server that genuinely cares about your experience and provides you with perfect service. We were lucky enough to have Guillermo as...our server, he was excellent. Also, our food was perfect! Rarely do I describe food as perfect, but they deserve this review. From the fresh ingredients to the way they prepared them in a unique way was amazing and provided a very memorable experience. This restaurant was on point! Everything was cooked perfect and seasoned accordingly. We cannot wait to come back!More

This was possibly one of the worst dinners I’ve ever had. Terrible service from the host station through the check. I don’t have words to describe how bad this entire experience was. Although thankfully the entire 40 minute experience only cost 330$

Visited for an early Valentine’s dinner. We had heard they have an amazing happy hour so booked an early reservation to take advantage of that. Unfortunately, Covid killed the HH and they haven’t updated their website yet. Regardless, the drinks were very good (Manhattan Reserve...and Ruby Paloma). The food was also good and we had zero complaints. Our wait staff was appropriately attentive without being suffocating. Would recommend for a special occasion.More

Made a reservation for Christmas dinner. The menu (unadvertised) was smaller than normal but twice the cost of their publicized menu. $79 for Mac and Cheese was a bit over the top. The setting is excellent and we had great service, but would not go...there a gain.More

This is a tired old restaurant. We had the heirloom salad and Thai shrimp as apps both were good. However the entrees of Airline Chicken and Artic Char we’re mediocre, and in our opinion, overpriced. Our server said it was the char was “like salmon”...but when presented called it king salmon and was shown on the bill as salmon. The blue polenta was mush, more like oatmeal. Just don’t think our meal was worth the $175 tab.More

Wonderful service, overpriced for average food. Views are nice if you land a table near window, if not you could be in any booth in any hotel restaurant. Nothing special.
