While visiting town, we came to this restaurant with great expectations based on the ratings in TripAdvisor. The place was busy and several tables were seated and waiting for their meals when we arrived. The two waitresses were very busy. It takes time to prepare...More

The German Cafe was recommended by a local friend. The food did not disappoint. We enjoyed the German meatball, chicken cordon bleu, Wiener schnitzel, potato pancakes, potato salad and coleslaw. All were delicious. No beer or wine which would have made it complete. Definitely worth...More

Love this place! It is so authentic and all their dishes are amazing. Just moved back to the area and found they moved locations and are now on Fry Boulevard. Definitely a must eat at if you live German food. Plus they gave a dedicated...More

So, if you would like to have a piece of bread while you are waiting an extended amount of time for your meal, there is a charge for bread and butter! Did you want bread with your meal? Doesn't come with it, there is a...More

The Cafe is in their new location, a bit larger than their last one, and it remains a true keeper. If the portions had been smaller, we would have finished every bite. But we enjoyed as much as we could and had enough for dinner...More

The folks at The German Cafe didn't miss a step when they quickly moved to a new location on Fry Blvd. due to a roof problem occuring during monsoon season. The food is still fantastic and the dining room is more spacious and easily filled...More

The restaurant looked clean and tidy and the service was good. But, the food was mediocre at best. Schnitzel was dry and a bit tough. Potatoes and red cabbage were OK. We lived in Germany for six years.

There was only on food server for nearly a room and one half of people. Understandably, the service was poor and the meal was not as good as on previous occasions. The food was not very hot, perhaps it sat for a while. The location...More

Omg!!! (It actually deserves a lot of OMG's, Lol). This place is every bit-to the T, German cuisine and hospitality. When we walked in there were no tables available. The waitress asked if we would mind sitting with someone. Of course we didn't. She sat...More

That makes more sense about the wifi! No, someone would not want to take precious space to work for extended periods. HOWEVER, did you know they moved to a larger place of establishment? They are now on Fry Blvd!

Don't know about wi-fi, but you definitely shouldn't be there for a few hours. It's small & there is often a waiting line.
