We came her with a reservation for a group of around 35 people on a Saturday night. They had a separate room and outdoor fire pit seating for us. Appetizers of chips, salsa, and queso; blackened shrimp and crispy grits--yum, but hot/spicy; duck confit tacquitos; cactus fries--I love these; smoked pork tortas--okay; and my very favorite, potato & panela croquettes.... We checked into our hotel late (8pm?) and this place was recommended for dinner for us. Not disappointed in the slightest! The server was attending way too many tables for him poor fellow so it wasnt the quickest but with how hard he was working we were just happy we got seated. Everyone was very, very polite and courteous. Prickly... More

Stopped in about 430 on a tues and place was nearly empty. Had a margarita and queso fundido that was pretty good. Service was good just wasn't impressed. Went across the street to Vino Di Sedona. Check my review on that wonderful place!

Went for dinner around 8pm on Saturday 11/19/2016. We walked in and went to the hostess station, and the hostess asked if we had reservations. We told her we did not and she just rolled her eyes and sighed. She took us to our table, threw down the menus and walked away. We noticed then that the restaurant was not... More

The menu here is very interesting and not too expensive. I would say it was southwestern cuisine with a twist. The taco plates are inspired from other cuisines (lamb tacos, pork bell tacos , crispy duck tacos). We shared a number of taco plates as they all came with 3 tacos each. I would absolutely eat at this restaurant again.

My husband and I sat in the bar area. We ordered martinis and specified the gin. We waited 15 minutes and then watched the bartender shake the drinks with the wrong (more expensive gin which we don't like). When the waiter brought the drinks to the table, I asked him what brand was in the drink. He returned it to... More

We went as a family of four on Thanksgiving. They had a Thanksgiving buffet which looked good, but we opted for the regular menu and a non-traditional Thanksgiving meal. Everything was delicious and the service was great. My 13 year old loved trying the frog legs. Cactus fries were an interesting taste as well. Would stop in again for sure!

The appetizers ,drinks and desserts were all very good. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed ourselves late in the evening. The staff was very attentive to servicing.

This is not the best place to eat . Food is lousy. Over priced . Tourist trap. Salsa is gross. Will not revisit.

The Barking Frog is a large full-menu restaurant, but every entree and salad on the menu has either cheese or sour cream in its description. The pricing is moderate-expensive, even on the 'Sedona' scale, and the service was barely passable (the 2 waiters seemed really bored). I had the adobado burro with achiote chile sauce; it was nothing special. But... More
