Place looked cute from the outside, had decent reviews so we tried it. Sat outside to enjoy the night and didnt realize it was next to the smoking area that provided a constant stream of Marlboro Red essence. Waitress came, appeared annoyed- having a bad...day? but brightened as the meal progressed. took our order accurately, timely and food was served hot. Burgers were lackluster, dry and without much flavor despite the tantalizing descriptions. Chicken salad was ok but had maybe 4 strips of chicken (or a really small breast). Dressing was very good though (cilantro). Wings were actually quite good, crunchy, decent size and very tasty! About 1/2 way through the meal a man drove up in a car and confronted a patron in the smoking section that was consistently occupied by several men of 50+yrs (around my age) drinking, joking loudly and smoking (not that theres anything wrong with that but not a great atmosphere for kids and families). The two began sharing cusses and threats but was QUICKLY broken-up by a young man who I think worked there. Followed them both out to the parking lot and ensured that they had no further interaction. We appreciated his attentiveness to the conflict and he apologized to us immediately after. Was a bit harrowing given we had children there. It also seemed like this was not the first time given reaction from the staff and patrons-this is just a guess, not fact. Having said all this, the food + atmosphere in-sum made this a no go for us in the future.More
