Place looked cute from the outside, had decent reviews so we tried it. Sat outside to enjoy the night and didnt realize it was next to the smoking area that provided a constant stream of Marlboro Red essence. Waitress came, appeared annoyed- having a bad...day? but brightened as the meal progressed. took our order accurately, timely and food was served hot. Burgers were lackluster, dry and without much flavor despite the tantalizing descriptions. Chicken salad was ok but had maybe 4 strips of chicken (or a really small breast). Dressing was very good though (cilantro). Wings were actually quite good, crunchy, decent size and very tasty! About 1/2 way through the meal a man drove up in a car and confronted a patron in the smoking section that was consistently occupied by several men of 50+yrs (around my age) drinking, joking loudly and smoking (not that theres anything wrong with that but not a great atmosphere for kids and families). The two began sharing cusses and threats but was QUICKLY broken-up by a young man who I think worked there. Followed them both out to the parking lot and ensured that they had no further interaction. We appreciated his attentiveness to the conflict and he apologized to us immediately after. Was a bit harrowing given we had children there. It also seemed like this was not the first time given reaction from the staff and patrons-this is just a guess, not fact. Having said all this, the food + atmosphere in-sum made this a no go for us in the future.More

Thanks for the review on the food, sounds like you burger was over-cooked, unless you ordered it medium well- well then I can surely see how you felt your burger would be dry, but then again who wouldn't? We typically always warn patrons who sit...More

Looking for a lively place in covid season. Stumbled on PJ's. We tend to visit bars but were surprised at the quality of food. Had wings and a shrimp plate. Normally lean toward healthier choices but the wings were crispy outside and very juicy inside....Better than any we can remember. Shrimp had a great sauce. Other couple loved their quesadillas and philly cheesesteak. Beer specials too. Going back!More

We were repeat customers on our trip to Sedona. The burger was excellent and the chicken sandwich was top notch.

We always love going to PJs. We call it our "Local Cheers Bar" where you know everyone who goes there. They can handle a large group or small and the best waitress is Marla! She always remembers what drinks we want when we come in...and we don't even have to order them. Such a fun atmosphere and the owner & wife are always there. The food is so good and such great prices. Drink prices are the best, too. Love that place!More

Spent all day exploring Sedona. Looked up the reviews on this place and decided to try it. We walked in with our two teenagers and was greeted by a rude waitress, asking if we were all over 18. We replied one was one wasn’t. Her...rude reply was “I can’t have you I’m here without your ID’s. We looked later on their website and realized this was a 18yr and older establishment. I missed that the first time I looked. My one star is the the waitress didn’t have to be so rude about it. We obviously didn’t know. Luckily the veterans of this establishment sitting outside provided us with an alternative dining option. Those guys should get a free beer!More

Walked over from Days Inn at dusk. Ordered Cobb Salads. They were fresh with blue cheese, avocado, red onion, 1 hard boiled egg, bacon, & dressing. Also had chicken with them. Very large and tasty. Hit the spot.

On our first night in town we walked over from our Airbnb for a bit to eat here. We were very happy with the experience in what is very obviously a local establishment. We sat outside near the door and watched many interactions between folks...coming and going, each greeting the other in a way that signaled they were regulars. We split the Coconut Shrimp appetizer, eight good sized pieces with a tangy sauce and enjoyed two craft beers and a Bulleit Manhattan (that night's drink special) with the tab coming to a shade under $30. The bottom line; if we lived nearby we'd be regulars.More

We had a great experience here! It was our first time visiting Sedona and we brought our dog for the weekend. I called ahead and asked if they had a dog friendly patio since we discovered a lot of places couldn’t accommodate dogs. They were...all so nice to her - she got spoiled with bacon and fresh ice water! Our food was good and our beer was cold. What more could we ask for after a long day of hiking!? Thank you for such great service. We will be back for sure.More

Zucchini appetizer was incredible! We had a few cocktails as well as the pulled pork sandwich and a short rib quesadilla. All very good! Fast and friendly service.

Even with the ongoing COVID-19 Ordeal PJs has set up procedures to enforce Social Distancing and continues to provide in-house Dining as well as take out. The menu is excellent with the same high-quality variety and great service. The food is served quickly and to-go...orders are warm, tasty and filling. All is super when you want a dependable place to go. It is also a great place for small meetings and discussions over a meal or a beer. Highly recommended.More
