Weather permitting sit outside when available. If the weather is overbearing the bar is a great place to have a cocktail and if inclined a great place to eat as well. Very nice high quality restaurant, with the service to match. Have entertained out of town guests there many times and have always received great reviews from my guests.

Enjoyed a nice business dinner in one of the private dining rooms at Sassi. The waitstaff were excellent - attentive but not bothersome. The cheese appetizer is amazing - another nice option is their amazing caprese salad. For entrees, the wild mushroom ravioli was excellent! Others at the table enjoyed the branzino.

This was my second trip to Sassi, and I took my own advice and booked our reservation for sunset on the patio. That part was just amazing. However, the whole point of the evening was the amazing food, and while our entrees were quite tasty (orecchiette, gnocchi, and fettuccini) the apps and side we ordered ALL LACKED SALT. And the... 12 years ago we visited Sassi while visiting from Boston and looked forward to returning because we had such a great dining experience. Finally we made it back and it exceeded our expectations. The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is jaw-dropping, and the service is friendly and professional. We can't wait to return. The bartender on Sunday night is a... More

We ate outside on the pation (they have heaters out there). The food is excellent, but pricey. The service is efficient and elegant and the desert views are wonderful.

While we still love it at Sassi's, it was not as good as last visit about 2 years ago. The food was solid but the new menu did not grab us. The house made sausage pasta was amazing though as was the corn and lobster ravioli. I had the red snapper as a second and it was ok but somewhat... More

A wonderful fall evening with dinner and drinks on the patio...gorgeous sunset, excellent appetizers, attentive waiter and staff and scrumptious main course. This place is a must. Out of the way - near the Four Seasons Resort - but well worth it.

A stunning setting starts the experience. ....Pinnacle Peak in silhouette at sunset, city lights that don't distract from the star-studded sky and the desert ambience enjoyed in the quiet of the patio...very romantic. The beauty of the stone "villa" and its interesting water features, is one reason to come, but it's the creative menu, superb food and service, that can... More

We were there for my wife's birthday last week and were immediately reminded of why this is our "special" place. From the entry with its Italian Villa feel to the welcoming staff. I said it was my wife's birthday and every person on the staff was aware of that and greeted her accordingly. The service and the food is always... More

We spent a gloriously, lovely evening with friends at Sassi. We dined on the patio at sunset. The entire experience was terrific. The food was delicious, innovative, and beautifully presented. Our server, Tom, and his assistant, Luis were top notch. On a lighter note, the women's restroom is one of the loveliest you will find anywhere. I can't comment on... More

Description
Sassi is Scottsdale's nationally known destination for fine Italian dining, wine and special events. Located at the base of Pinnacle Peak. Sassi offers rustic, artisan style cuisine inspired by small towns in southern Italy. Sassi's villa style architecture, comfortable surroundings and rustic elegance are the perfect setting for a romantic dinner for two or a company event or wedding for up to 150 guests. Dine in one of four main dining rooms or on the patio (weather permitting), or reserve the private wine cellar for up to 14. Sassi features more than reasonably priced 150 wines from Italy and California to complement Chef Peter's flavorful cuisine.
