We were a party of four and ordered some wine and several menu items. The service was fast with a hint of "back east attitude." Being from Boston originally, I felt right at home! The food was good... not like my Mother's cooking... but good. The wine selection is quite good. If you need a spaghetti and meatball "fix," this... More

This place is fine if you like being treated like they don't want you there.....the bar tender was rude and unhelpful. When I asked "what's good to eat here" he responded with "nothing the food sucks here". I attempted to let the "manager" know about the bartender's remarks upon which he responded by getting aggressive and telling me I have... More

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. The server and the host were very welcoming, so we have no complaints there. The food, however, left much to be desired. I got the Eggplant Mushroom Parmesan, the eggplant was soggy and drowning in oil and the pasta sauce tasted like they dumped a can of Hunt's tomatoes without any spices... More

Local restaurant and bar in Old Town Scottsdale recommended to us by our driver but was nothing special . . . The restaurant staff enjoys their own sarcasm and sharp tongue. The host was comical towards our group, but almost rude to another party desiring to dine at their restaurant. Ask for "Meatball" as your waiter, he's fun, makes the... More

Had to come back. Great hospitality. LISTEN TO STAFF when they give advice... Especially regarding their great wines. They pride themselves in being a bit sarcastic. We felt completely at home. And food?? You'll not do better this side of Italy!

I expected good Italian food and got below average spaghetti sauce and watery Chicken Marsala. The place is all black inside like they are trying to hide something. Kind of depressing and unappetizing.

We visited on Friday evening just after a Spring Training game finished so the place was busy and very loud. We were seated without a wait by the maitre d' (complete with an Italian...eastern seaboard accent). The waiter was quick and the food was hot. My wife had lasagna not a ridiculously huge portion like some restaurants provide and I... More

We had friends visiting this weekend and have told them about this place and the great food. We had a reservation and table was ready when we arrived. The waiter Meatball was awesome and the food was great. About a half hour in to our appetizers and drinks a man at the front started yelling at our waiter asking why... More

We were seated immediately by a friendly staff person at a great place right by the window. He was knowledgeable and informed us of the specials available, etc. When our food arrived, my husband's salad had a pretty large moth-like insect in it so he asked for a new salad. The server said he was sorry and that "the moth... More
