In the middle of a bustling night life area on a Monday night, and after a shift in body schedule from an east coast flight, we came on a recommendation for drinks and apps. After perusing the menu, we opted for apps and dessert for our calories, although the wine list was extensive. My wife had the "Stetson Chopped", which... More

Located in the 5th Ave. district of Scottsdale, Cowboy Ciao is one of the city's best destination eateries. Eclectic southwestern-inspired fare, Wine Spectator recognized wine list and knowledgeable wait staff make every visit a treat. Worthy of your consideration.

Amazing, unpretentious food is the hallmark of this restaurant. Everything is fresh and delicious! Nice fusion of excellent, local-when-possible ingredients with Southwest flair. This is a Scottsdale ""don't miss" restaurant.

$40 for a dry stuffed pork chop? Come on. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised - it is downtown Scottsdale after all, where people seem to have more money than sense, but I was very disappointed after hearing great things about this place. My buddy had the "Pastrami Short Rib" or something like that (again about $40) and although the... More

We went here on a friends' recommendation. It is in a beautiful and walkable area of Scottsdale. We had a reservation and were seated at a table at the window so we were able to people-watch and just enjoy the view of the street and all the fancy cars going by. Our server was very good and recommended the Stetson... More

I have enjoyed this restaurant many times over the years. The unique flavor pairings make for a delightful dining experience. There is something for everyone from great starters to melt in your mouth entrees and desserts that will make you swoon. Pug n' Puddin' never disappoints and the Mushroom Medley is a winner as well. Experiment. .. you'll be glad... More

Have been here several times. Besides serving one of my region's favorite wineries, we had the opportunity to have breakfast one time. The biscuits and gravy were tasty and the breakfast enchiladas were a big hit with my wife. Good place to relax with lots on tv's.

In February during PARADA DEL SOL we had an early dinner @ COWBOY CIAO before doing the Thursday night Western Art Walk we did not have a reservation, but it was early and a window table was available. We could eat and watch "the world" go by.. It had been several years sinc our last visit and it did not... More

We visited Cowboy Ciao with another couple. It is located in downtown Scottsdale so one can shop and sightsee before or after the meal. We ordered two brisket dinners (beef on sourdough bread with sides); scallops, and a West Coast Wrap which was accompanied by homemade potato chips. The food, along with a cocktail, a soft drink, and two beers... More

Great atmosphere and good location. Easy valet parking nearby. Our party of six was seated right away, in a room just aside from the large main bar area. Our waiter Geoffray (aka Ray) was attentive throughout the night. Nice selection of wines, beer and drinks on the menu. Nice appetizer selection; the wild boar meatballs a hit with our group....
