I have been there two days in a row and had coffee and a latte which were both really good. The breakfast was surprisingly good as well. I had the oatmeal both mornings and the fruit tastes very fresh. My toddler ate it which is saying something.

Stopped with my wife, son and daughter-in-law. They had the coffee and thought it was pretty much average. Nothing special. Had stopped at the new ice cream shop next door.

We stopped in here on a rainy afternoon for a coffee and and a pastry. The cashier was not very friendly or helpful. There were only 2 scones left on the counter - no other baked goods whatsoever. The place seemed a little "worn" to me - chairs were dirty, tables were not cleaned, papers were scattered everywhere, etc. It... More

Even if you are not from the area, this coffee shop makes you feel like a local. Their very friendly staff serves up an excellent latte, complete with a foamy leaf on top. There is a cozy, home-like vibe, with local art on the walls. They offer both breakfast and lunch and the food is really good. They also have... More

Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with very good coffee. People sit, talk read and relax here. Just a place to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee.

I was in Scottsdale for a week and this became my home away from home coffee shop. When I walked it it immediately felt local and friendly. I felt welcomed. When I ordered my first latte it was memorably excellent. Nice rich coffee flavor and a perfect micro-foam layer on top. Both parts must be present for a great latte.... More

This is a great go to for an espresso drink! My staple is their rich and velvety latte which is served piping hot from an experienced barista. If you are in the neighborhood, forgo the Starbucks and stop here.

I often travel to Scottsdale. For me, this is the best coffee around, hands down. Forget Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. This place has a great selection for take home as well (I just wish they could fix their online ordering!), all coffee is roasted on site. The food is good too. If you can get a table and ignore all... More

I will admit I'm a bit of a coffee nerd so perhaps I'm a little hard on Village Coffee Roasters for only rating them average. Simply put I was just expecting a little more than I got in terms of range of beans and sourcing.

I've ordered several drinks here and have loved them all! They have non dairy options and the coffee itself os extremely flavorful. The baristas are eager to please.
