We love eating here. They have moved into a bigger space and can accommodate a lot more people than their old place. This is not a huge menu but everyone can find something that they will love. We probably have tried most items on the menu. The marbled rye toast is thick and really good. The egg dishes are delicious.... More

Executing a good breakfast is not as hard as some places make it. Matt's, however, has no issues. The service was excellent and the breakfast was full of all the right flavors...home fries, omelets, waffles, toast, eggs, hash browns, and local beer...check-check-check-check-check-check-check. Timing is everything as the place gets packed in the morning. That said, there are multiple locations around... More

Worth the wait! Come prepared to enjoy the outdoor seating area or wander downtown while you wait for your name to be called - ask for your estimated wait time. Once seated in the restaurant our order was placed and delivered in 10 minutes or less - amazing service and excellent food taste and quality.

We enjoyed this restaurant we went 3 out of 4 days. Breakfast is great. Cage free eggs and Iowa pork chops make for a great breakfast. You may need to wait for a table but it is worth it.

The area surrounding the restaurant is beautiful and there is nice outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered "the skinny" (picture). The salad on the side was nice. My parents enjoyed their meals as well, although ordered were more basic breakfast food. Only complaint was that my mothers omelet had canned peppers instead of fresh ones.

We were lucky not to wait more than 10 minutes. The place didn't look very clean although a strong bleach smell was coming through the kitchen door every time the waiters would go in and out. That was very off putting for me. The food was great, everything, the buttered warm toast, the sausage omelet, the pancakes were sooo good,... More

I met a family member that was in town the same time I was . We picked a spot half way between us. He had seen this place on one of the great dinner shows. Luckily we got there at 7:45. The place is not that big so it fills up fast. It is very noisy inside due to the... More

Matt's served as our intro to PHX. Picked up the rental car, headed straight to Matt's. 40 min wait, but in a peaceful outside area. Was generally worth it. Friendly staff, very diverse crowd, a bit hipster but no annoying. Was a weekday to so business-types in there as well. Nice little touches here and there. Food excellent. Will definitely... More

I may have ordered the wrong menu item, a waffle, which was your average waffle. The menu was simple, but for some reason, I expected a more elaborate selection. Although, the service was very good.

Plan on a wait for breakfast on the weekend, but it's usua,ly not too long and the food worth the wait.pancakes and waffles are really goid, as are the egg dishes. Our hash browns weren't quite cooked all the way through, don't know if that's their standard or just a one time thing.

Thank Marcia B
