Close to museums, we stopped for a quick lunch and found this to be a fabulous restaurant. Really good sandwiches, fresh and prepared any way you prefer. Very inexpensive. Small seating area and crowded during lunch hour. Worth the time!

01-03-2017 Philly with mushrooms and fries for my lunch and my daughter tried the Gyro platter. We both give a thumbs up for flavor and amount given. Only downside is it gets a bit crowded inside so we decided to eat our lunch using the tables out front.

Love this quaint little sandwich shop downtown. Stopped by on an absolute fluke. Glad I did. The Philly sandwiches are the best I have had in my travels. Cooked to order, fresh, delicious. No skimping on the meat. Staff was awesome, they felt like family. Do give this place a shot.

My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying the Large Philly Steak is fairly lean and tender, thinly sliced, griddle fried with olive oil, splashed with onions and topped with a solid amount of tasty melted white American cheese in a 10” Italian Bread roll along with an order of crunchy and tasty French fries. Touted as the best... More

This place may be small in size but big on flavor and variety. They have it all when it comes to sub sandwiches or Gyro's. The cheesesteak with everything is fabulous.

Chose this place to eat at based on reviews on TripAdvisor. Looking at it from the outside we didn't think it was open and it was mid afternoon on Saturday then we saw another couple walking in. The place is small and really not much to look at. We ordered a philly for hubby and I got a gyro. Took... More

I grew up in New Jersey and according to my Mom cheesesteaks are the 5th food group! Ok so maybe not but if you're like me and craving a bit of home then this is the place to go. Everything's fresh, fast, and greasy just like it's supposed to be. The menu has all the traditional favorites so everyone can... More

I just happened to see this llace while driving downtown and it's a new fave. I love hole-in-the-wall places with great food and that is exactly what Best Of Philly is!

A hole in the wall but packs huge flavors, they have the best Philly in Phoenix, also try the Gyro, it is sooo good, actually try anything it will be awesome. Mike the Owner rocks, he is the best. This place is worthy of a visit by Foods Network’s Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.

The bread was fresh, but not much flavor to the meat and cheese. Tasted like they sliced lunch meat, heated it up and put it on a bun. Only one kind of cheese (not Cheese Whiz!), and that was not very flavorful either. The French fries I had were ok, but not particularly flavorful. The counter staff were VERY pleasant.
