Our daughter and her boyfriend had visited the Salty Sow a couple of weeks ago and raved about it. We made a reservation for brunch and from the moment we stepped inside the place exceeded our expectations. It was warm, friendly, our server Chris was amazing (a recent transplant from Maryland ladies) and we were seated by the incredible $5... More

I've been to this restaurant twice. On both occasions I really wanted to like it. Upon introduction it sounds amazing. Unfortunately the service and the food have consistently been a notable disappointment. On the first occasion the service was very average. Very long wait for a server almost put off by our presence. The pork was dry and Leathery. The... More

Our group of friends dined here and everyone was so impressed the food they ordered. The menu is unique, large portions and everything tasted wonderful. We don't usually order desserts, but several of us were tempted by the choices and they also tasted amazing. The only downside I can think of is the noise level, it does make holding conversation... I love pork belly. And this pig oriented restaurant has an excellent one for a main course. (The accompanying cheese grits are just as tasty.) The duck fat fries are good, but not sure I could tell what they were cooked in. (If you don't like egg on your fries - be sure to tell the wait staff - cuz... More

Totally by co-inky-dink, we were there two nights in a row with different groups of friends. The place is lovely, dark and welcoming. Hubby had the beef shoulder with runny egg on top. He loved it. I had the fish and chips (duck fat fries). Really good. The signature sips are beyond compare. Second night he had asiago crusted halibut... More

My boss recommended this place as a mid-priced restaurant to meet with an out-of-town guest. My husband and I enjoyed almost every aspect of the meal, service and decor. Kelly provided excellent service. The food was very good, with one minor bump that was quickly addressed by Kelly and the manager. The country-style pate was on a meat and cheese... More

We went here at the enthusiastic recommendation of friends, they had visited 3 times while in Scottsdale last month. Not sure what the excitement was, I'll have to ask when i get home. There was no greeter when we arrived so we proceeded to seat ourselves. He arrived shortly after we sat and seemed annoyed that we had seated ourselves.... More

Great spot to come enjoy good food and atmosphere! Very friendly staff and great service along with some interesting menu selections! For appetizer try the Green Chili Pork stew! Tender and full of flavor with just the right amount of spice, and plenty to share! The ribeye Tacos are also cooked to perfection, with a great balance of flavors! The... More

This is a large restaurant, but it doesn't feel too crowded or noisy or impersonal. We had a great meal, excellent service and attention to our time constraint since we were headed to a concert at the MIM. The menu has a good variety, of course, lots of pork, but there are other options. I would definitely return here again.
